I'd strongly recommand to use it instead of the cheap ones. The washes
are much smoother and the paper stays wet longer when you lay washes,
which is very critical when you do wet in wet. A famous watercolorist
said "life is too short to paint with bad paper" which is absolutely
true. If you have a limited budget, you can use cheap brushes and
even student grade paint, but definitely do not try to save money on

key is to practice more. Using good paper and you'll see your improvement
in your techniques overtime. Watercolor is difficult to master and you need
all the help you could get, and good paper is one of them :) |

这边社区大学上了一年半学，学的是幼儿教育，马上就要转到州立大学了，但发现自己
不是很适合教课。其实也一直很想往艺术专业发展，以画画为生。在社区大学选了门
drawing，老师画得很差，得不到什么有价值的指导。看到州立大学有美术的本科（包
括drawing, painting, watercolor方向），不知道转去学艺术是不是有价值（我只需
要多修三门画画课就可以转方向），将来能做什么以画画为生的职业，大学毕业又怎样
开始这样的职业？（我在南方的小城市）
另一个可能性是去学graphic design，同时在社区大学修个web design的大专文凭（州
立大学没这个方向），可能将来比较好找工作？浪费了老公不少学费，不想将来一事无
成。然后自己拼命练习画画再找画插画的机会？
挺困惑的，希望从事这方面工作学习的好心人帮指点指点？

derwent也不错
油基 比如lyra 也很好用
油基蜡基可以混用 同时建议买支blender
想用彩铅画出油画效果 需要借助溶剂
水溶性的是watercolor pencils吧？这个不一样
总结 牌子不那么重要 只要是artist grade都还不错

这么少，但人家那么注意保护自己的文化传统，咱们好像就少些了。是因为中国人还没
有富到一定程
度？ 说是富到3代才能真正重视教育，大概是吧。。。
