michigan current和wave nowcast数据，2公里精度，十年之内每20分钟都有数据，这
些数据很重要，很多陆地上watershed的模型，landuse，生态模型和水里的渔业模型都
需要这些数据输入，这些东西可是上billion的预算，国内力度还不够就是了

But the town's soil/water residual pollution problem is elusive at best.
and much more serious if you are paranoid about pollution and child cancers.
Nobody has all the answers.
Winchester bears the same problems, being downstream in Mystic river
watershed. but for its name, no future buyers from you would give you much
problems.

其实用红外技术反而在夜间容易找到人，人体温度98度，高出环境温度30多度，（LA最
低温度63度，山上更低），很容易在红外成像上显现出来。

One can spend a lot of time in Dutch wonderland and other rustic B&Bs.
A lot of old world to take in.

Cedar River Watershed education center进去的。
那个tour也不错，不过好像是收费的，当然那个tour长一些，收费也可以理解。
现在这个tour是在Landsburg Dam，是free的，一个tour大概45分钟左右。
两边是不通的，不能互相到达。 |

长周末计划到华盛顿的东部做一次road trip，计划包括Palouse，Walla Walla。周六早
上一路上交通还是很顺利，不过感觉出行的人很多。西雅图附近的天气并不很理想，但
是通过DOT的实时监控，可以看到山那边已经是阳光普照了。
第一站，位于哥伦比亚河谷的Gingko Petrified Forest State Park。这个公园很特别
，陈列着各种树木化石，有大有小，还有一个小小的博物馆，有详细的信息，博物馆陈
列着大量图片、化石切片和一些文献，说明化石森林形成的过程。公园的位置是欣赏开
阔哥伦比亚河谷的好地点，在树下，拿出准备好的水果零食，安安静静的在这大河之畔
，来一次野餐。
吃饱喝足，开车跨国哥伦比亚河，到了对面的Wild Horse Monument，这里的山脊上，竖
立着几十匹由金属材料制成的奔马形象，但是要想到跟前去欣赏，还要花点力气，一段
0.5英里左右的山路，大概150英尺的爬升，就可以到达山脊之上。
天气很热，这段不算很长的距离，因为小路路况很糟糕，让向上攀得的人们都很吃力... 阅读全帖 |

special interest groups, democ old camp and lobbyists etc.

一般的可以去Sugarloaf, Gambrill， Frederick Watershed，Catoctin, Michaux之类
的。
小一点的像Shaeffer Farm, Blackhill, Patapsco, Little Bennett什么的周末转转也
