高手请指教：
我J1第三年，期间transfer过一次，现在的J1 visa stamp 到今年7月份过期，DS-2019
到2013年3月过期。
想马上开始申请Waver，以便老公能在四月份申请J2转H1B
请问：
1. 在Waver申请期间，我可以用现在还有效的J1 Visa 去第三国开会吗？我会不会在入
国海关时被拒？
2. 如果Waver成功拿到，我用不用马上申请H1B? 还是说，我现在的DS-2019到2013年过
期，只要我不出美国，就可以合法呆在这？

会自动被waver掉。据说一次waver抹除之前所有的J。不知道这个是不是事实。有了解

以后来美的难度 （在国内申请H1肯定比J1难吧）？这么说waver需谨慎。

New Waverly 在houston的北边，离我所住的KATY还是挺远，大概一个半小时的
车距。清晨5：30起床，稍有些疲倦，因为前一天晚上因为一些事情睡得太晚，靠近12
点才上床。稍微吃了东西算作早餐，收拾了一下，然后开车去接了下我的 carpool伙伴
Kent,然后开了一个多钟头到达了目地地。这个不属于Charity Ride, 中间的休息站很
少，就2个，人数也没有上一次多。 在起点我很吃惊的看到一位老兄骑的hardtail山地
车，我恭维的说"tough man", "strong man",他老兄自我解嘲说自己是"crazy man"，
对于2周后的MS150,2天180mile的ride,他的车就是他的山地车，"ride what I have",
后来在大概半途一个上坡，我又看到了他吃力地在爬坡，当我pass他时，我又恭维了他
一句"strong man". 途中一位老年rider(大概70左右)真是让我佩服，爬坡能力非常强

朋友刚拿了绿卡，她在德州的一学校做博后，她老公在一个小铺子修车，收入不高。
老公的父母来美看他们，一个月后，老公父亲应老病---前列腺重大因起无法大小便，
送进了县(COUNTY)立医院的EMERGENCY，治疗加手术，大约6万美刀。医院只给PERMENENT
RESIDENT OR CITIZEN免费用，对於访问者无任何WAVER。没有保险。
她才买了房子，再无更多的美刀来付医疗费了。请大家给出出主意，该怎么办才好。
可以向州政府申请WAVER吗？如何申请？

另外，听说一个台湾gg说Waver办了以后如果换工作，下家只能是Support H1的，这个

没有回音。也在申请国内工作，还要两三个月才能定下来，若定下来ld可以回国。问题
是我目前也在同一单位J2身份做博后，刚开始几个月，想要再待一年左右，将手头工作
告一段落再回国。这种情况下我接下来一年怎么才能待在美国？ 如果现在我们两人申
请waver，然后我办H签证共需多长时间？目前老板比较愿意给办H1. 此外，ld也可再在
这里不要工资待6个月，不知道这个时间够不够办waver和H1的？但这个要求ld必须待在
美国不能离开，对找工作非常不利，请问这个要求是必须的吗？ 还有一个办法是ld的
老板给一部分钱，这样学校就可以再给一年J1，但我们也不清楚这一部分钱应该是多少
，很难开口和老板商量，各位达人有什么好办法么？先谢过了！ |
