Before QF he lost a total 22 games in 12 sets, less than 2 games per set.
Even with that he still couldn't hold up for the next 3 matches, becoming
weaker and weaker each match. Would Nadal be in the SF, he would have lost
quickly 0-3.
Last year he started going down hill in the SF. This indicates his body is
getting worse this year. |

almost all times. These two allows him to hit the ball clean on the rise
and execute the big forehand with accuracy.
Thanks for the advice. I'll work on them. I typically use my high heavy
topspin to push opponent back and work the point, then look for a weaker or
short ball to drive with angle and lower the altitude. Against 鲑鱼, he didn
't really let me do that.

What I found in my game is: when my opponent has strong stoke, the ball I
hit back tends to be stronger as I use his/her power and counter punch it
back. However, if the opponent hits ball weaker and no pace, and I try to
generate power on my own, it is not as good, and my shot is weaker. So I
have to hit angles and more rallys to wait the opponent to make mistake (or

game. When play vs weaker opponent, you have the mentality of you should win
, and hence unknowingly you exerted mental pressure onto yourself, where vs
good/better players, you tend to just focus on play out your game, which
must be a very good game.
Also weaker player tend to hit with less pace which could be harder for you
to get into a good rhythm, good/better players hit with good pace, and maybe

I must admit that I was hoping for Roger to win another title but Novak was
simply too strong and deserved the victory.
Roger has improved again in recent months. His topspin backhand is more
consistent and at times even dangerous, which it wasn't in recent years.
He is also coming forward much more and he is very effective up at the net.
At the end of the day it still wasn't enough to beat Novak who was certainly
