little by little by the later plot. the problem is that i am too old to feel
for the adventure nancy farmer weaved for her chars. on the other hand, her
irony toward society i could relish being at an advanced age. the narrative
was cool, clever, humourous and analytical. all the way i was conscious of
this elegant narrator, which dimed the fun coz it made the reader look at the
story from an outsider's point of view |

She's a great writer in terms of literature but a lessor one in terms
of mystery.
She creates a lot of characters, presents them well, weaves them
successfully into complicated plots.
However,
her works do not have the exciting reconstruction/recount of a murder
at the ending, as most of Christie's works do (a most exciting case
in point would be Appointment with Death);
neither do her works contain the unconventional mystery element found

BTW, have you seen the movie 'possession'? It's about discovery and subsequent
fighting for ownership of a Victorian menuscripts(love poem) and that leads to
some history back in that era. A little too mellowdramatic according to me but
these days anything weaved with history can get my attention. Definately
going through a phrase...

I watched it, that's why I said all above. I liked Matrix, and the scenes
similar to Matrix were directed by the same director, but there are much
fewer scenes here, right? I like the way they weave time and space together.
Well, I guess that I only understood some of them when I watched it first,
I read more of the plot later and I am planning to watch it again. :-) |

but if you have to do it. as suggested by redbull, aop is yur best shot.
if runtime performance is your concern, trying aspectj.
if you are in spring env, using spring native aop, but it will weave the
aspects on runtime.
if you are in jboss env, it also has its own aop, in which aspects will be
woven at classloading time. |

要我说，
它应该直接Weave成code,
而不是把这些aspects exposed to users.
不知道你说的什么commercial tools,
生成entities一般Eclipse里的Hibernate tools就够用了吧。 |

接用Boost.Python, scipy.weave 这些。或者 Cython 也是一条路，但那是另一种
Python和C的合体语言。总之都是编译成本地 dll/pyd/so，供 Python 调用，很多时候
实在是没办法的事情，谁让 CPython 解释器实现这么挫。 |
