great marketing gimmick for the unassuming consumers. It is banned in

'lawn food': fertilizer
'feed': fertilizer
'weed': herbicide
Herbicide: If its function is to kill weeds before they emerge from the soil
, it is called pre-emergent. If its function is to kill weeds after they
have emerged from soil, it is called post-emergent.
Note most pre-emergent also prevents good grass to emerge from the soil, so
you shouldn't use it when you are planting new grass or overseed.

weed control). he said even with weed control, the weed will come back
sooner or later. and it does hurt the grass and also need quarterly service.
I just tried weed b gone last month. and now it's Fall. may try something
else next spring/summer. for those weed with large root, use yourself. for
those weed with soft root, I don't know how to deal with either. |

active ingredients of weed-b-gon, buy those ingredients in concentrated
package, then dilute and mix. Usually several times cheaper.

the time.
Other than that, there are chemical solutions that kill weeds but not
grasses. For example, 2,4-D can be used for dandelions and plantains;
adding Dicamba and MCPP kills a wider range of broadleaf weeds; and
Triclopyr can be used for a few tougher ones. (Note what I mentioned here
are active ingredients, not brand/product names.) For these types of

一般来说bermuda得60%以上，能取得比较好的效果
1.中型浅根的weed,直接带手套pull
2.大型深根的weed,用drainage spade撬起土层，再用手拔
3.小又嫩的weed, 用mower,或者weed killer, Bermuda一般用含2,4-D成分的除草剂，
可以杀一些阔叶草 |

愿望是美好的，但是 weed & feed 是违反事物发展规律的。
首先，这个除草剂和肥料混在一起是非常不好的主意。如果你
的土缺肥，多撒点肥那就多撒点毒药？草坪长得好的地方，基本
上没有什么杂草，那毒药就是白给了。草坪长得不好的地方，杂
草多你的肥料就白给了。
如果分开来，肥料归肥料，毒药归毒药。那很多人首先大概不会
去撒毒药，这个东西有毒不想碰。但是毒药混在肥里面，就不介意
了。其实是一样的东西，就是心里想着这个是肥料所以不介意了。
要是单独撒的的话，毒药会比较集中撒在杂草上。大家不会给
好草撒毒药是不是。
最重要的一点，毒药个对土壤非常不好。毒药毒那些土里的微生物，
蚯蚓什么的。这些东西恰恰是让你的土比较“肥沃”的关键。
这个从土壤的 CEC, OM 角度来说的。长期毒害土壤，里面长不了
有益的群体，必然导致土质变坏，板结。然后你就需要翻地，打孔
什么的，需要更多的肥料，甚至土壤疏松的药。

毒品也有三六九等的。
别把症状和故事混着掺和。
weeds (烟末，卷在纸里面抽的那种）基本上应该没问题，几乎没有白人没抽过的，什
么好大学，坏大学的宿舍里面都是weeds的味道)；

unfortunately most herbicide in homedepot can not be used on St Augustine. I
found online that atrazine can be used for st augustine, but some say that
it only works for broadleaf weed, not grassy weeds.

不要用固体颗粒控制剂，用混合水喉喷洒的液体剂。
今年内，如果发现它们长起来了，就用weed hound在开花时，连根拔起；同时，将草籽
