i had a similar one (Weider Club C650) in an apartment bedroom before (3rd
floor). no complaints at all. had to let it go cheap when moved. it is hard
to find nowadays. |

the TuffStuff RPR 265 sells around $1200, no weights, no bench, just the
rack.
the Weider C650 was sold at Sams Club at around $700 long time ago, with
bench, bar, lat attachment, etc. but no weights.
used one usually around $300~$400. weights alone can cost around $300. |

昨天看到Sears因为Columbus Day有运动器材5% off，不小心耽搁了没买成，今天再一
看就没有5% off了。
Sears好像时常会有这样的小额优惠，应该再等几天又会出现吧？快到年底是不是还有
机会有更大的deal呢？运动器材好像比较少见。。。如果有就再等等。
另外买home gym还有什么地方比较合适呢？

Bowflex Blaze Home Gym $851.17
还有一个比较便宜的，amazon上买的人不少
Weider Total Body Works 5000 Gym $138.9
大牛们觉得哪个好些，多谢 |

发帖数: 7843 | 19 5年前的我，5尺10，136lbs（62kg）。当时已经是强化型瘦猴，在极小的食量下非系统训练了几年
外加系统训练了2年半。当年无法克制住自己吃肉的欲望，总是喜欢在进食的时候先把
肉吃完，靠肉吃饱之后再随便吃点饭。饮食结构是高蛋白高脂肪低碳水化合物低热量，
有着变态低的体脂。
虽然营养跟不上，但也是个强壮的瘦猴了。不过我的训练是很serious的，完全按着
weider的那一套来，阿诺时代的练法。

瘦人想变大，无非就是变态的吃和变态的练。
正常人所谓的变态吃和练太可笑了，简直就是小孩过家家。吃要吃到每顿想吐，练要到练完卧推无法作俯卧撑，深蹲完无法下楼梯……想和自己的基因作战，不狠一点怎么行，这是逆天的行为啊。
变态吃和变态训练，两者中做到一点就能使身体有明显变化了。问题是正常人无法变态…… |

The question is, will it bulk up your muscle? I mean if we rank muscle size
gained from the following practices, where will TRX fit in?
1. Traditional Barbell/Dumbbell free weights, 3x5, 5x5, Olympic, Weider/
Arnold style
2. Cross fit, kettle bell, bumper plates barbell, explosive and endurance
3. P90X, tone and definition, with some body weight, dumbell/resistance band
training, pull ups, etc

发帖数: 202 | 23 一方面是夏天露肌肉的机会多，另一方面好像夏天减脂也容易。俺体重已经稳定在155
磅有两个多个月了，没打算再减，一直快乐地吃喝，也没上有氧，结果最近三周天气一
热，就刷刷刷掉了4磅。俺猜想估计人体内有一个机制，天热了会告诉身体不需要储备
热量，减掉脂肪还有利于身体灵活，捕捉更多的猎物。天冷了就会启动能量储备状态。
刚刚查了下Joe Weider's Olympia Weekend也是在9月，估计是有利于选手达到最佳状
态。
俺理解得对么，还是俺在瞎想？ |

Costco 的weider Prime。
目的不是一下子靠激素提高，而是激发自身的产能，同时要加强锻炼，因为睾丸酮能帮
助产生肌肉。
不管啥吧，基于的理论是挖掘自身而不是完全借助外力比如伟哥那种。
话说这时间长短很不定啊，不一定是完全物理的，心理也很重要。最长的一次真的半个
小时完全不倒，结果两个人都烦了。最后还是靠五姑娘帮忙的。 |
