Current weight: 112.6 lbs right after waking up in the morning.
I haven't record the food and exercise in a daily base since too busy with
tax season and under alot of work stress...but i have been doing good on my
food limit to 1,200 calories a day.

Great job LZ. What is your height?
And one suggestion, plesae don't eat your kid's leftover, the calories will
add up day after day. I learned it from my aunt, who is a housewife and
cooks dinner for her family, and she usually eat whatever
her kids and LG left on the dinning table even she already has her dinner, and she has gained serious amount
of weight over the years.

今天有空,写写我的weight loss story,算是还愿。我168cm,大约一年前的这时候我是
140斤,现在114斤,其实减重主要在前半年,后半年不知是遭遇平台期还是有点松懈,
所以没太减。但这个成绩,我还是非常骄傲滴~~~身边的很多朋友都说我变化太大了,
觉得不可思议。我们曾经都是整天立志减肥又整天失败不下几十次然后干脆放弃...这
个mission impossible居然可以成功,我的经验就是对的方法+对的心态+坚持。
开始减肥是因为看了未名站美丽时尚版的一篇帖子,在这里要特别特别特别鸣谢TJX宝
驴mm!!!我就是看了她的减肥故事受到了启发。以前试过的各种减肥方法都是要我们
克制,忍耐,吃苦,要有毅力……但是宝驴mm是第一个告诉我“减肥是一种生活方式”
的人。总的来说,就是你不要拼命的starve yourself,因为你饿得了一时饿不了一世
。保持身材是一辈子的事,所以我们也要选一个可以坚持一辈子的减肥方法,那就是要
建立一个健康合理的生活方式。当你习惯了这种生活方式,想不瘦都难!并且这个生活
方式带给你的不单是好的身材,还有好皮肤,好心态,以及最珍贵的健康。

So now my starting point is 5'6'', 150lbs. My goal is to lose 10 lbs a

Actually I gained that 5 lbs in just 2 weeks. After another 2 weeks, I lost
1 of the extra 5 lbs. It did strike me. I know I can't live on pills, it won
't give me lasting result. But for now I just wish to be stuck into my size
6-8 clothes again, asap. Really tired of being of size 10-12. And because I
don't shop when I am fat, I have limited clothes to choose from everyday. I
feel sick by just looking at them. I need some new color new styles-----at

1。take really good notes:write down everything you eat
(我们这个版上参加活动的都做得不错啊,如果能再量化的更具体,都加上卡路里就更

2。measure what you eat
(好像也是我们一直提倡的,我觉得也包括吃东西一定要事先拿出一定的量吃,不能一
大盘/一大包的放开了吃,不容易控制到底吃了多少。)
3。Beef up your protein intake
(公主和紫苏mm几乎在绝大多数人的 food log 上都提过这个建议,一定要吃够高质量
的蛋白质,鸡蛋/鱼肉/turkey/鸡肉/虾/high grade beef/greek yogurt/low fat
cheese 等等,蛋白质顶饱,最好每顿都有)
4。Add color to every meal

Nice to find this place. But seems most are girls here.
According to my experiences, the best way for me to lose weight is still
diet, esp. to avoid eating Chinese food, which is delicious and contains
lots of oil.
Am I correct?
I'm now 178cm/161lbs(73kg). I don't wanna go muscle style, so just run
several times per week to keep fit....And hope to lose to around 70kg. Any
suggestions for guy?

家里有椭圆机,一直跑那个,现在觉得要加点weight training,可不可以上p90x。假
如用这个的话一定要按照他的schedule嘛?还是可以挑自己的问题部分轮着练?谢谢啦

既然伤了就歇歇吧,不用weights的方式有,但是要不运动到你受伤的肌肉同时还能练
肌肉这个忒难了~~~
我上上周用ab wheel也把肩伤到了,休息了将近两周才重新开始。

决定采取紫苏的意见,今天本来该跟着跳kickboxing的,决定不跳,改做weight
training了。
去王老汉的博客找了个健身房计划,星期一,胸肌,貌似很简单,卧推三组,蝴蝶机三
组,俯卧撑两组,如此做两轮。
看起来真的很简单啊,但是做起来,为什么我有一种想挑战大佬结果还没进人家大门就
被看门大妈殴得血溅三尺的感觉啊……
先找了个卧推凳子,很好,有根空杆。
第一组咬牙推了10个。
第二组手臂打着晃推了6个,喘口气又推了4个。
第三组推了6个,死活推不动了。杆子横在胸前不能动。
一个女生经过,赶紧帮我把杆子拎起来了。对面有个卧推一百多磅的大叔,对我说:这
杆子重45磅,你刚开始,还是去推哑铃吧;还有啊,不找人看着一个人练很危险哪。
于是第二轮的时候乖乖地去推15磅的哑铃了。
然后蝴蝶机,调到40磅做了一组半,然后发现动不了了,改到25磅做了另外一组半。结
果等到我转悠完一圈回来,赫然发现不知道哪个牲口在我之后用了蝴蝶机,重量调到了
180磅。
再度拜倒。
经过前面两个动作的蹂躏,俯卧撑只撑了10个就趴地上不能动了,耻辱啊!

本人女 很高 瞅着Bmi快超出正常范围了 着急
开始节食运动大概3周 吃到基础消耗 再运动掉500卡左右
以前从来不运动 所以吃上控制得比运动严
就这样体重掉了4kg 期间一周mc
围度掉得比较惊人 腰 臀 大腿各少了7-8cm
然后近一周有点反弹有点平台
想问问围度掉得快是不是属于water weight掉的 接着体重也可能会掉得更慢?

BMI = 25.2 (overweight for a white person; even more so for an Asian)

I remember to see this short section on Runner's World long ago. Anybody
wants to see how you can improve your performance after losing a few pounds,
here from the expert.

For every pound you lose, you'll run about 2 seconds faster per mile. So
losing five could cut two minutes off your time. But if you are already slim

How many pounds could a guy gain during tapering off and carb loading? I am
two weeks into tapering, 75% and 50%, repectively, but alreay gained 3
pounds. I am afraid of another 3 pound for carb loading next week, feeling
my recent appitet. I don't recall gaining that much weight before last two
marathons.
Is it OK? Any suggestions?

嗯, 不过我看racing weight这本书的时候说, 其实runner
在on season的时候, 准备race的过程中, 体重自然会缓慢
下降。 只要你能keep住你的mileage.
我最近3周掉了大约6lb, 135lb->129lb, 其实也没有很刻意的
节食, 每天睡前都是比较饱的状态,除了肉吃少了, 其他饮
食方面没太多变化。 训练也没有感觉很受影响, 倒是身体
能够感觉到轻了, 体脂下降的也很明显。
唯一是最近睡眠不是太好, 不知道有没有关系。。

天气暖和了,终于可以穿短袖跑步了,身上的秋膘加冬膘却也无处可藏。虽然对于体重
秤上的读数可以视而不见,可是由于肥胖引起的chafing却给自己敲响了警钟。
今年第一次chafing是两周前的半马,右臂内侧磨出的伤痕知道最近几天才完全消下去
。今天在同样的地方竟然又磨出一块。为什么只磨右边,而不磨左边,这是个问题。。。
今天开辟新路线,竟然再次迷路。看来对于我这种超级路痴来说,迷路真是每次开新路
的必修课。以后一定要研究一下305的导航功能。拿出手机来找路,突然发现电池盖子
竟然神奇地失踪了。于是一路上在不断地思想斗争,要不要换手机。后来想想还是算了
,多出来的钱够买好几双跑步的鞋了。

It is always been said that swimming is not an efficient way to lose weight.
In my view, it is not necessarily the case, at least for me. I lost around 25
pounds in less than 2 months by swimming. I'd like share my persional
experience with y guys here.
First : you have to swim long enough, better without any stop for at least 25
minutes.
Second : swimming with sauna will greatly improve the results. For me, in
these months, everytime, I swim 2 or 3 rounds, every round is a about half an
