Scholars is an exclusive one.
This year, two from Montgomery County are its sole occupants.
Patrick Cha of Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School and Emily Yang of Richard

briefly of the history of Baduk (Korean equivalent of weiqi), quoted here:
"Baduk was invented several thousand years ago. It was one of four great
accomplishments a gentleman was expected to learn: Geomungo (traditional
Korean zitherlike instrument), Baduk, Calligraphy and Painting....."
China, as the birthplace of all four arts and a major influencer of

discussed how to measure the outcome, so, there is no basis to discuss what
pays more.
in weiqi, you could potentically measure it by playing against the same
computer program and measure the result of how much you win or lose. while
that is not necessarily a good way to measure "level", it is A way.
if we were to use this way to measure weiqi level, I am not convince latter

我乃湖北襄阳人士，一个典型的棋迷加网虫。由于对围棋的痴迷，长期游历于各大围棋网
站之中，乐此不彼，如今已是联众5D、清风9D、新浪5D、中游9D......头衔多多!
期间，我发现网上围棋站点不少，可是专门推荐介绍它们的却没有一个，且由于更新与站
点维护等问题，许多站点上收录的网址也打不开。于是，萌发了做此个人主页的想法。
“围棋网址大辞典”，主页名称虽然给人一种夸大其辞的感觉，可为了能让网络围棋爱好
者一目了然地明白本站的出发点，还是厚着脸皮起了这样一个名称。
首次做出对大家有一定实用价值的东西， 自已也很欣慰。我也将尽力及时更新站点信息
，方便所有热爱围棋的人。

surprise considering population based, just wonder why it takes so long.
Actually Chinese Weiqi Associate did 2 good things:
1. Allowing 20 persons turn pro every year to increase Chinese pro base.
This will lower many pro's living standard but also input lots of fresh
blood and talents;

Yeah, that is definitely true, some people even have this vow of poverty and
lead and deliberate simple and poor, and presumably secure life.
To not be totally irrelevant to this board, I should say that Maybe some
weiqi players are like that too, they love weiqi more than wealth. |

Weiqi has 361 playable spots to begin with. Which has more permutations in a
simplistic sense?
The fact that one of the best computers can play chess at the topmost level,
yet no computer is able to play Weiqi beyond a reasonable amateur shall
illustrate which game is more complex than the other. |

围棋有多少年来日本比中国强多了，因此有话语权。

这种合理组织并且表现在：
1.每个局面下，越有“合理招法”希望的落子，会被更多的“研讨对局”，通常比如当前
局面下，最有希望的落子位置会比，希望第二大的落子位置研讨次数多出一个数量级。
