了班都不回家，team的人一起去喝酒，否则会被视为不合群。还有，人人以weird自居
，电面的时候HR有没有问你“how weird you are？”

见到板上大多都是喜报， 我仍然相信还是有一部分人和我一样平凡的人在找工作， 不
断收到打击， 然后不断在原地站起来再前进的人。 与这部分人共勉。
本人EE 小硕， 最近硕士要毕业了， 开始找工作， 学的EE。
初次找工作投了5家公司， 结果全都有回音。 接下来电面或者ON SITE。
结果2家倒在HR电面这一关， 3家倒在ON SITE。 个人觉得背景还不错， 有大公司实习
经验。
但是我总结失败的原因， 有如下几点：
1 英文口语还是欠火候。 我的英语口语水平是那种说自己熟悉的东西能唬住别人的那
种， 然后人家问些莫名其妙的问题， 没有准备过的， 有时候就会卡壳或者词穷。
真是伤不起啊。
不知道有没有和我一样情况的兄弟姐妹。 看板上这些人找工作， 似乎大家英文都很
溜， 根本存在这方面的问题， 但是我仍然相信会有和我有共同心声的人在。

但是我觉得这事都不大，感觉还是PHD的问题，因为虽然truescreen已经verify我的MS
学位了，也verify了我那3年确实在读PHD做RA（working experience），我也向他们的
bg check team解释了现在没有PHD学位，可以提供成绩单，但是或许就认定我这方面
cheating了。
基本没戏了。。。

lot定了floor plan，然后开始动工了，所以价格下调很多。想买的距离上班近一点又
想新的房子又想区还可以，还要考虑基本朝向，只有这个不算太糟糕。其实那个区大部
分朝向都不大好，所以只好要求不那么糟糕了。我觉得4bd的标配就行了，3个weird了
一点，当然，5个撑这样也比较weird。。。

on an AE card, but never got any statement. They charged me late fee and
more late fee. The weird thing was that I got all my mails using that
address, except AE statements, although they claimed they mailed to me. So
weird.
In the end, I paid for all the late fees. And AE cancelled (or I closed) the
card.
Finally, I got another AE card because of the COstco thing. AE counted me as

我自己不热衷这个，平时一起玩的朋友都是中国人，所以怀老大的时候就没打算搞baby
shower。lg的公司有个小福利，就是男员工的老婆怀孕，小秘也会给搞个小的baby sh
ower基本上会请同组的或者比较熟的人参加。我当时觉得挺尴尬的，平时也不跟这些同
事见面，跑去收礼物怪怪的，就很不想去。lg说无所谓，反正大家都是这样的，到时候
就去一下就成了。。实在不想去就算了
一般这事都是自己张罗，然后小秘定地方。。我家lg就觉得他不张罗，估计就过去了。
到时候领公司给的两张bru的gift card就好了，哈哈。结果37w的时候lg发信请假，小秘
说，啊，都快生了啊，baby shower必须搞！多有意义啊。。。然后就定在我38w+3d周一

另外这次所谓主流媒体集体失声其实就是说明一个长期存在的道理：种族的融合只有在

孩子，多生娃，争取经济控制权政治投票权。为有自己代言人，为收买代言人努力。李

想漂白自己英文再溜，吃再多的沙拉，读再多的英文诗也是到“谁是自己人”的时候，

Yes, the $15 ECB for the meter is working. I can confirm. I went this
morning and got one with my hubby's card. BUT .... this is very very strange
. I turned around and did a second transaction with hubby's card, used the $
15 ECB that I had just gotten and it rang $5!!! NOW, THAT WAS WEIRD!! I
caught it on the screen and the cashier had to do some things to make it
come up $15. Talk about a weird ECB!! |

When it started to sell picks for wb, I didn't find it hilarious at all,
rather, I found it extremely weird, especially when it kept on stressing it
did it b/c it thought it was funny, when it was obvious most of the people
were not laughing, rather they were angry. But it didn't seem to bother it
who seemed to live in it's own world, has it's own set of logic to live by.

看了前面几个帖子，感觉大家工作压力都很重，天天都有朝不保夕的感觉。这里大部分
人已经是白领，拿着美国前20%的收入，为什么会这样呢？美国几十年前，一家一个人
工作，就能有房有车，每年度假，养一堆小孩。现在两个人工作，还觉得紧巴巴。
看看美国中产收入，富人收入和通胀的比较。看看美国的基尼指数，一切尽在不言中。
这是一个恶性循环，富人过去要靠穷人的消费来赚钱，穷人没钱，不敢消费。没有需求
，企业萧条，失业更多，大批人力资源浪费。富人靠华尔街，自己画大饼充饥，不断制
造泡沫，从中产身上圈钱。
政府每个月往银行系统注入巨资，但是银行不肯贷出去。因为穷人拿不出抵押物，也没
有还贷能力，银行就把这些钱继续投入股市造泡泡。贷款的都是富人，象甲骨文老总就
拿股票抵押贷了好几十个亿。这样通胀损失的政府的钱，自己股票是硬通货保值。
这个制度本来就是这样设计的，钱生钱。富人的欲壑难填，希望自己的钱继续为自己产

终于开始这个一个人的旅游了，坐上飞机的那一刹那，很有一种大笑的冲动，虽然不是第
一次，但是看到Travel版上草鱼的游记，觉得，应该放弃在可以在高空懒懒睡觉的机会，

机票是从New Hampshire的Manchester机场，飞Maryland的Baltimore，和我的目的地DC还
有一个多小时的火车程，然而，为了拿到便宜的Southwest的价钱，也只有委屈自己早半个
小时起床，去赶这50 Miles之外的方便了。送我的朋友，比我还准时，一路上，我兴奋的
一直说话，让他惊讶于半梦游状态的我，还能有这样的精力。
看到Southwest的飞机，我忍不住picky了一把，是啊，简直就是小孩子的绘画作品啊，多
weird的红色，多weird蓝色，放到大家中间，显得太Cheap啦。哎，人家就是很cheap嘛。
不然，我干吗跑过来啊。
安检的过程，无一例外的繁杂，sensor连我牛仔裤上的小纽扣都不放过，都是自己细细的
银手镯惹祸，整整傻站了五分钟。

with my ex too, my ex is a much better friend than gf, so I'm still friends
with her.
but it really depends on how you feel, I had an ex who was friends with her
ex, and they had the same friends, it was weird when I hung out with him a
few times, I just couldn't do it anymore. It wasn't jealousy, but just
