end up with a small house. We have to add a room and alter some of the floor
plan in order to live in it comfortably. It's a very old house and realtor
doesn't know where to find the original floor plan. There's not even

当然他如果真的实力到一定的地步，不去平民场所，那就是另外一回事了。
你自己想不想要移民是一回事，别人怎么看你是另一回事。fit in也不是你想不想要的
事，而是对于成年后再出国的人来说（尤其是我们这种赤手空拳的留学生）根本就是很
难的事。
然后我要更歪楼了：要说适合中国人居住，美国再好的地方也比不上国内自己的地方。

时候跟养孩子时候的要求是不一样的。年轻人，到处多走走，各种地
方体验一下很好的，可以由着自己的兴趣爱好来。要养家的中年人就
很难有这个奢侈条件了，要考虑到很多现实的因素。比如房价，学区，
就业。至于“成功”，也不是所有人都想做老板的，比如大妈我，就
想过过悠闲的日子，慢慢把孩子养大，然后满世界地去看看。其实以
前别的版也讨论过，记得很多人推荐德州和北卡，都是过小日子的地方
？他总不能把自己的title,年薪戴在头上吧。他如果再自负的话，那样子就更weirdo了

1. 没必要动辄扯到歧视。被bully的小孩跟种族可能有关系，但跟个体关系更大。小孩
的世界是最原始的弱肉强食，自己内心强大，学会说NO，有特长（特别是体育），有幽
默细胞的，很容易受欢迎。
2.有些中国妈妈保护意识太强，见不得小孩受一点委屈，可以理解，但哪个小孩成长路
上不会被bully几次？关键要帮助小孩学会如何应对。
3. 碰到这种情况严肃喝止之外，最好和大人或者学校老师校长谈，冲对方小孩发脾气
不是解决方法。
4. 说说我家熊娃的个例。我们住在typical white society，小朋友5年级以前不和别
的小朋友玩，从来不串门，只喜欢呆家里看quantum physics(I'm not kidding:-). 我
们开始也以为学校没有同族，容易被孤立。不过无所谓，美国允许孩子不一样，各种
weirdo齐放呗。小朋友六年级不知道哪根神经搭错了，突然觉得social也很好玩，一夜
之间变得很popular不是在FaceTime中，就是在各家串门中。我们才发现原来小区的孩
