房地产市场上有多少银行收屋,买主压价买便宜房等等。但是First Trust Advisors的
经济学家Brian Wesbury说,如果美国不加紧建房的话,到明年会措手不及。
在一次采访中他说,随着人口的增长美国每年需要150座新房才能满足需要,如果把那
些旧的倒塌的房子算进去,则需要160座新房或者更多。从目前的房产市场存货看,现
在的房子只够维持六到七个月的销售。
根据政府的数字,2009年十二月美国建造新房的年率是每年557000座,比十一月份下降
了4%,比2008年十二月下降了25.3%。
有些人可能对这个数字不以为然,因为想到市场上还有很多的银行收屋待出售,但是
Wesbury说:“不错,是有不少银行收屋待售,但是现在新造屋太少,知跟得上人口增
长的30%,所以是远远不够的。”
根据统计,上个月银行收屋为315716座,比一年前减少了15%,比2008年12月降低了10%。

I was stunned into silence by this morning's ridiculous unemployment report,
showing a magical drop in the unemployment rate from 8.1% to 7.8% despite
not one single other economic or employment indictator suggesting that such
a gain was possible.
