消费上
1。最大的石油用处化工方面可以不那么依赖原油。天然气中的wet gas中C2,C3等副产品
在downstream取代了crude成为feedstock；进料有alternative。2012-2013年去乙烯
厂做项目时候非常吃惊看到他们彻底倾向wet gas。
2。第二大石油用处auto行业mpg不断升高，electric car越用越多。
3。巴马政府和其他国家签订了日后美国清洁能源的使用比例的目标
4。乙醇掺入量不断增加,poet等乙醇公司在2012年就敢喊出他们希望汽油跌倒2元钱
以上是消费面的减少，相当于釜底抽薪
环保上
5。Obama上台后一个显著的特点是拨给了epa大量的钱。epa制定了采油方面严格的标准
；制定了严格的refinery/utility排放标准；制定了大型运输车排放的严格标准，这推
动了类似fedex,walmart等公司投资大量的钱到fuel efficiency甚至zero carbon排放

Drying aging let water evaporates from the beef while aging..so the flavor
is stronger and denser.
Wet aging is done in vac sealed bag..so it keeps the fluid in the steak..
I usually do one-day dry aging before cooking..it creates a good crust even

版上white water kayak的活动让人心潮澎湃.小弟没怎么下过河,只在游泳池里面扑腾
了两下.就来纸上谈兵,讲讲自己练习的感觉.俺是完全彻底的初学者, 这也就抛砖引玉,
望前辈们多指教.
1.什么是Eskimo roll
滑雪会摔，划船会翻. 摔了不怕,站起来继续滑. 不过刚开始学习滑雪的时候,想站起来
也要狠折腾一番.然后知道了ski就用pole来撑, snowboard就原地打滚(hehe,要滚的帅
还是需要多练习的). Kayak翻了呢? 这个时候你就船底朝天，整个人头朝下都在水中.
最自然的方法就是赶快弃船,游出来.这叫wet e |

带，租也不贵。我roommate买了全套，就在channel island, catalina用了两回。
自己要准备的主要是mask, 尤其是近视眼的，要顺便把度数弄上；snorkel, fin. 这些
出门带着，很多地方就直接跳下去snornel了。想潜水就租regulator, tank. wet suit
在夏威夷，印尼，关岛，cancun等热带岛屿完全用不上。穿上了在水底下会憋尿，我们
老师教的是直接往裤子里面尿，我在laguna beach用租的wet suit试过，感觉很奇妙。 |

- No cotton!!! Cotton is completely useless when wet. You will actually get
colder if you sweat, or if your outlayer get wet from the snow.
- Heavy weight very long synthetic socks.
- Bottom: Long base layer (or fleece pants) plus ski pants (with liner or
even fleece/synthetic insulation). Ski pants does not need to be Gore Tex or

泳镜呼吸管 and maybe a pair of fins - it will help you to kick, but
initially it feels weird if you have never used it before. there are

A better way to dry an area of wet carpet is to use wet vacuum, or carpet
cleaner. Can rent one from many grocery stores.
Open windows and doors and let air circulating instead of using electric

sink下面了。我又在照片中红色circle那里用wet vac 抽。但是现在主出水管还是堵。
难道是空调里面就堵了？谢谢

总共花了8天时间，感觉还是挺赶得。由于天气变化莫测，下了很多雨，很多想去爬山的路线都只好忍痛放弃。
第一天飞到Calgary,然后开往Banff到Lake Louise青年旅社住下。 顺便看了下著名的Lake Louise.第一次看到这种蓝色的冰川湖，还是很兴奋的。但是不知道为什么，总觉得湖水脏脏的，很milky. 延着湖走到了2.5km尽头，才发觉的其实应该过几天走plainof six glaciers一起走的。当时天已晚，就没有继续下去。 可惜的是，之后因为下了很多雨，plain of six glaciers一直就没去成。

shoes on a wood floor, espcially with dust on it. it is true as slipery as
skating but for rubber ground, it makes huge differencees. Usually we put
some wet paper nampkins beside the net pole and we tap our shoes on the wet
paper wheneven we feel more friction is needed. |

lubricant that is dry enough and bonds to metal thus increase the chain life
by a lot. wax is dry but not a good lube. other oils are good lubes but is
too wet.
but you should avoid degreaser as much as possible because it creases
problem with metal to oil bond. this bond ensures the oil not completely
squeezed out from metal to metal friction. you can use degreeser hopefully

use grippy tires, wet brake pads like swissstop green pads, prolink chain
lube (works in rain), shoe cover to avoid wet feet.
anticipate and act early
when turning, pressure on outside pedal, inside knee against top tube.
tape the seat tube opening so water won't go in.
low gear high rpm. no sudden acceleration. |

when it's wet and dark outside.
I don't use vaseline for any of my ride. The only exception was at this year
's Muskoka 70.3 only because I was trying out the brand-new 2XU trisuit. I
applied body-glide under there, and still got chafing issue after the race.
Never had that problem with my bib-shorts.
