Masters 最后一张入场券（if not qualified earlier）。今年PGAtour 大变脸，改到
了5月，这样PGA赛季从4到8月间，每个月都有一次高尔夫球盛会(名人赛 The Masters
April, U S Open，June, 英国公开赛July, 和 PGA锦标赛August). 很多传媒和球员
称球员锦标赛“第五个大满贯赛”，可见其地位之高。球员锦标赛的奖金一直是PGA
Tour 最高的，前几年是8m，今年更是达到9million，好眼馋。冠军得主同时获40分（
World Golf Ranking points），虽低于大满贯赛的50分，但高于WGC的35+ points.
Fedex Cup points分配上，球员锦标赛享受于大满贯赛同等待遇。每次赛事总是星星云
集，我印象中与PGA Championship半斤八两。

出场。怎么办呢？答案就是 季后淘汰赛。
对呀，其他职业体育都有季后赛， NBA, NHL的常规赛简直就是摆设。NFL可以说是常规
赛和季后赛并重。只有棒球大联盟因为季后赛名额太少，大家才大玩常规赛数字游戏。
甭管哪项体育，季后赛收视率提高是理所当然的。
能不能象NCAA篮球那样搞个Bracket来真正的淘汰赛呢？WGC的比洞赛大家都看到了，偶
然性实在太大，搞不好泰格尔和菲尔前两轮给涮掉一个就搬石头砸脚面了。话说回来，
人们也更习惯看比杆赛。就这样，由33周常规赛和四场季后赛组成FEDEX CUP被隆重推
出了。
可以说，PGA TOUR的手笔是很大的。
先看奖金池，3500万美刀。冠军10m，号称是体育史上最大的年度单项奖金。下面是，
亚军3m，季军2m，殿军1.5m，第五1m等等一直到第144 $32k. 当然，这些钱只是为
FEDEX积分准备的，每项赛事各有自己的现金封赏，惯例依旧不提。
再看地点，前三项季后赛分别在纽约（Barclays Classic），波士顿（德国银行锦标赛
）和芝加哥 |
