包括公交车，租车公司的车，公司，政府或者学校的公车，18 wheeler，school bus，
建筑工人用的卡车，taxi（cab），警车，救护车，消防车，垃圾车，农用车，等等，
绝大多数都是美国人自己造的车，而且看起来这些车永远也不会采用外国车。有这些巨
大的需求存在，美国的制车业就永远不会倒。
中国人在讥笑美国人不会造车时，不要忘记我们国家我们的政府带头开外国车，所以中
国的汽车工业永无出头之日，这才是最可悲的。至于美日德韩车的比较，可以休矣，因

本来有辆honda accord，很是喜欢，只是觉得有点面，所以新车集中在compact suv上
考虑
最后锁定在jeep liberty 4X4，网上对他质量的评价还不错，只是比较耗油，不过因为
这是第二辆车所以不会有那么多顾忌。
最后在家附近的一个dealer把价钱谈好了21333+fee+tax
买的是07 limited+29G package （皮椅+selec transfer，，，），msrp $28848
开了快一个月了，去了一趟nyc，回来遇到暴风雪，感觉比较4X4确实不错，而且油耗也
还行local 17mpg，high way 23mpg，combine 19mpg
动力十足，而且有很好的tow cap。，以后如果买个小玩具（船，4 wheeler。。）也可
以拖得动。
另外有life time的powertrain warranty也让我比较放心。

ran into a yellow light. I did not stop. And as I passed the line, a 18-
wheeler from the crossing direction was about to turn right, slowly.
Apparantly the driver thought I was going to stop at the yellow light......
The only thing I remembered is that I used all my efforts to hit the break.
And it felt like it took soooo long for the car to finally stop. My car
almost hit the truck, probably just several inches away. |

一无二的。你去翻翻所有的4-wheeler, off-road的杂志，哪本不是在介绍改装Jeep？
阿裤算什么？reliability不如Lexus，性能不如Infinity－其实连Nissan都不如，这个
品牌本身定位就没什么特点。说得再难听点，日车就没有所谓的豪华车，有钱的“开一
日本车都不好意思跟人打招呼”。日饭们不是爱吹日车的resale value高吗？阿裤的哪
种车型resale value能高过Jeep的牧羊人的？ |

good intentions. They flash you to warn you of something. You probably had high beam on and not fog light. You need to learn how to use a heavy
machinery before operating it. It's no joke. 18 wheeler drivers are very
professional. They get paid $80K / year. They have to follow trucker laws. They won't deliberately "kill" you and risk their job. |

发帖数: 25 | 50 18 Wheelers have 9 -13 gears. They are all manual. Plus the gears do not
have synchronizers, which means they have to rev match with double clutching
every time shifting gears. It's a lot of work to shift gears in a big truck
to change speed. So if a passenger car forces them to alter speed, they
hate that. Once or twice is fine with one car. But if you keep on slowing
down in front of them, they want to do something to you. |
