method is that kids will soon learn (or already learned?) that rules are
all "optional". As a result, kids will procrastinate until death about
everything b/c there is little consequence for them to listen right away.

其实我认为哭与不哭和坚强都是不相关的，只是情绪表达的方式。我在意的不是这个，

疼了就哭着来找我，whining着往我怀里蹭，我抱起他，揉着他碰着的地方（呵呵，其

给你吹吹，就去玩吧。从那以后，有些小痛小痒的他就不whine了。情绪表达出来没有
问题，如果让情绪占用太多的时间就不好了。坚强是一种态度，哭泣是一种情绪表达的
方式，至于好坏就见仁见智了。我不认为是坏事。whining 是一种我接受不了的情绪表

我想你还是要顾全到你老公对于你父母的负面感受的，但是他的不满只可以关起门来对
你说，而不可以直接和老人冲突，他们缺乏感情基础，又参杂着各种不满和立场不同，
矛盾一旦爆发就造成更大的创伤。而你是可以接受他的不满的，因为你们之间有感情，
能体谅，也能讲清楚道理。我老公也会对我说，“受不了你爸妈了”，“我担心他们你
这样会把宝宝如何如何的”，其实也都是小事，比如我妈以前会说“宝宝是第一位的”
，我会马上说，所有人都是一样重要的，不要当着宝宝说这样的话。多说几次，她也就
不再那么说了。其实她那么说也就是自己乐呵一下，我阻止她是有些残酷的，但我这么
做她毕竟不会真的怪我或者生气，我老公却不可以做同样的事情来顶撞他们。

然后就走极端变成干脆放弃不去证明了。。。
其实俺的看法，娃版形象版证明，不过是 "bring the non-obvious
to the obvious, even the process is just a little tiny
whiny bit complex"。
从这个角度说，(-2) * (-3) = +6，这个正号，对娃就是
non-obvious（如果 obvious 娃也不会问或者犯错了）。
用乘法分配率，娃版算术版形象证明，是要费上一点时间，

Both my kids started soccer at 6. Now my 12 year old is in the #3 club team
in the state. I love all the girls and their coaches.
Pros:
1. Great benefit to characters. She used to be a whiny baby, now when she
was hit in the middle by the ball, would only grimace and kept running
2. Made a lot of friends, understood the dynamics among teammates and to the
coaches, built real friendships
3. Excellent training for physical as well as self-esteem
