提到冷战时期美军遍布全球的SOSUS水下固定水声监听系统无人不知，但知道它的
来历是一个“脑洞”的求救系统么？以后后来如何发展为IUSS系统。冷战后又如何向亚

一、一切源于一个神秘通道的发现
1930s的海洋学家们无意中发现了海洋中存在一个神秘的“深海低频声学通道deep
sound channel”，也叫SOFAR声学通道，在这个通道里，低频声波能几乎毫无损耗地传
递数百英里!而当时其他声波在海水中也就传播几英里就衰减了。
SOFAR通道是以海洋垂直声速剖面SVP的局部最小值为中心的一个通道，在这个通道
中的低频声波可以以最小的能量衰减传递很远的距离，而原因就是不同温度水层的形成
的“通道折射”效应，使得声波避免与海面或海底的接触损耗。
1944年春天，美国海军曾做过实验，从一组炸药产生的周期性爆炸声，在SOFAR通
道传递了超过900英里依然清晰可接收！
但这玩意儿被发现后，首先却是用在一个“脑洞”的救生系统里面，即海军使用低

简明扼要的说，就是一位白人厨师，41岁的Stephen Port被证实和4位年轻男孩的死有关。而犯案手法一模一样，极大可能也是他犯下的谋杀案，还有58起。
这所有的案子都有一个共同点，那就是：1、受害人为年轻男性。2、死前被服下了GHB（一种精神类毒品，原理我们后面再说）。
为什么受害者都是男性呢？聪明的你一定已经猜到了。
因为他们都是gay。
嫌疑人Stephen Port在一个著名的同性交友网站Grindr上物色下手对象，然后把无辜的受害者骗到自己的公寓，下毒再杀害。
目前确证是他杀害的死者已经有四名。在英国史上最恶劣杀手排行榜上，已经仅次于1960年代虐杀了五名儿童的Ian Brady和Myra Hindley，以及在依普斯维奇杀害了五名妓女的Steve Wright。
而还有58起悬案极有可能和他相关。
