两台desktop, Dell Dimension 9100和C521,都设成Wake On Lan
从外边要用的时候用ssh连到router,用router上的wol命令启动机器
再连remote desktop.
装的是ｓｅｒｖｅｒ 2003, 这样可以用多个remote desktop,
从外边连的时候不影响家里人同时用
ISP是Verizon FIOS, best isp ever used. 5M downstream, 2M upstream
用remote desktop很爽

发帖数: 766 | 22 昨天把两个WNDR3700设好了dual band bridge，没有设加密，裸奔，结果隔着一堵墙，
十米左右的距离，2.4G的信号强度是good，11mbps，5G的强度是fair，6mbps。试着拷贝
，速度只有1MB/s，还不如以前的的俩Buffalo WHR-G125。
准备退掉了，看来只有拉线才是王道。 |

调一下port,发现敲192.168.1.1进不去router了,用厂家本身的192.168.11.1也不行。
router 倒是这几年一直工作地很好
谁帮忙想想是怎么回事，有啥办法，谢谢先 |

whr-hp-g54配合tomato 不过这个有点落伍了 只支持802.11b/g
如果要上n的话试试华硕的
rt-n16 支持千兆lan 128MB内存 2XUSB口 支持存储 刷tomatousb的固件
也很稳定 缺点就是比较贵 而且不支持5G的N
如果要5G的N的话就是cisco的E3000了 但是这个路由器我没有试过 不知道真正用起来怎
么样
总结起来一句话 能刷tomato的 在tomato上都比较稳定 原因这里不详细说了
DD-wrt相比tomato在稳定性上差的太多 |

俺用LAN上的电脑可以ssh 登录router。
用router的local ip 192.168.x.x和WAN ip都没有问题。
port forwarding也设好了。
用WAN上的电脑却ssh登录不了
俺的router是Buffalo WHR-HP-G54。router连到westell的router上接外网
大家看看有啥办法么？thx |

Sometimes it is the modem that dies/freezes
One solution:
Buy one buffalo whr-g54s and flash it to dd-wrt, google "dd-wrt p2p slow
down"
change the settings for your router's dd-wrt, done. |
