HONOLULU (AP) -- Michelle Wie didn't hit a fairway off the tee, didn't hit a
green in regulation. And through the first nine holes Thursday, it was
becoming increasing clear that she didn't have a chance to make the cut in
the Sony Open.
Wie was 8 over par, and easily could have been worse without making four
putts outside 6 feet. The 17-year-old from Honolulu was in last place, four
shots worse than one of the club pros who qualified.

nobody doubts her talent. howevere, talence don't always turn to be result
automatically.
When I watched the game, there are some interview about annika. Annika is much
more mature and realistic.
I guess there is only one thing about wie, curently, the mental toughness. I
may not right 'coz i didn't watch her game a lot.
Wie shoudle know herself, no way she could compete with men before she is
mature enough, mental and physics. even not dream about it at this time. just
get some titles f |

is wearing a hard cast that will keep her away from golf for at least a
month, a family spokesman said Friday.
Spokesman Jesse Derris said the 17-year-old injured her left wrist this week
and that her doctors expect it will take four to six weeks to heal. Wie's
right wrist was tightly taped from an injury last month at the Sony Open,
where she missed the cut. |

Wie didnt get along with LPGA at all.
and she was playing mainly for PGA, ie, tee up with male.
now, Wie finally realize 小胳膊拧不过大腿，归了LPGA
she got sponsor exemption before because she was young.
now, she is still young by all standard, but to PGA she is already 年老色衰
了, since she didnt create much of buzz at PGA (she missed cut most of time,
maybe her injury was her execuse.)
so, the best way to keep her at spotlight is for her to go back and qualify
for LPGA |

如果把她的四个best round凑在一起，就算不能夺冠，也有top 10了。
关键是她都不知道如何能在关键时刻打两个par-round 出来。
看看tiger老爸，从小就请了心理专家来陪着他打球，
一步一步培养自己的信心。
Wie的家人就想投机取巧，
sony open make cut绝对不是不可能，
她打过的6轮里，如果算最好的两轮肯定够了。

round. If she shoots an 80 Friday, the vultures will pound on her again.
Until she wins a tournament, they will be ready to attack, and probably even
after that.
I will suggest, however, that anyone who says this woman is purely hype is
simply insane. Remember, one very critical fact: She is 17 years old.

Wie.
Actually, Tiger said the same thing about this girl's swing, she hit/pratice
the punch shot too much so that her wrist easily gets injuried.
Punch shot needs a strong arm for sure 'coz the left hand doesn't release
from the follow-through movement.
The left hand is the leading hand which guides the ball's trajectory,
basically.From my knowledge, punch shot is mostly used when against wind, or
for some rescue purpose. |

Confidence is the most important thing in the game of competition golf. Like
