little silver apple showed up on the screen after about 5+ seconds of
holding both buttons down. Then my custom backgound showed up with the
slider and everything appears normal.....wierd though.

I could use ipad as the monitor and thus I could have a kinda wierd mobile
station when not using a MBA
thus you have both world ios and the osX.
huge hard disk and good enough cpu for serious work,

read the httpd.conf in its /conf/ directory,
that's the configuration file.
(most time you don't need change anything in this file)
then put all your pages into the /htdocs/,
rename the first page to index.html or index.html.html.
(that's wierd? then you can get your own configuration
via changing httpd.conf)
I suppose your PC is a NT one. then set Apache server
as the service in NT. This is the last step.

UNIX system adminstration. Code is usually hard to read, even to the
coder himself. So it's usually used for "quick-and-dirty" fix. BTW,
it's OO feature is too wierd.

but in the application, it cannot. Imean i can use the dba tools by
connect to sql server using sql6.x driver in teh pb, but the application does
not connect, it walways tell me the DBMS is not currently supported
it seems likea compatibility problem. is that mean that I cannot use the
pb6 to develop the program on sql server 2000? |

escaping on xml(html) level, and encoding on binary level.
browser may introduce ambiguity that it sends literal char
sequence {微} (inputed by a wierd user) and a chinese
char '微' exactly the same to server, so that server has
no idea which one it means exactly.
i didn't do works on making a server capable of handling
all character from all browser of any locale, so I'm not
sure how hard it is.

build the library into dll. One thing I don't understand is, even if the
program runs under CLR as if I build the system into a mixed managed and
unmanaged code under C++/CLR, shouldn't the CLR know where are the native
code and where are the native code call into native code.
Anyway, it's very relieved to know a way to work around this problem. Thanks

wrapper class of the unmanaged code so the whole thing would be running in
CLR. I am not an expert on this so it's just my guess. Glad that it works

Just tried to replace HHD of X201t with a corsair force 160GB.
it doesn't work. The x201t can't recognize it. the wierd thing is that it
will recognize it when hot reboot...
and the size of corsair 160GB (2.5') seems a little bit oversized. barely
can be inserted into the slot. I doubt it might be the problem...

installation and select mSATA to install you system. the installation disk
will write a hidden partition in HDD with a handler point to mSATA then it
would work.
but it is still wierd. any HDD set to active should be enough. might be a
BIOS bug.

But after I "closesocket", how can i re-setup this connection ?
My process is "open socket again" ->setsockopt->bind, but the "bind" just
fails and complains that the port is in use. Wierd! I have already shutdown
the socket use "closesocket", there should not be such problem at all...
