In LZ's case, can his wife renew her passport first and try to get a new I-
94 in some border city? If she gets the new I-94, can she file the I-485
then? If she can't get the new I-94, can she then return China to apply for

she was requested for interview and we did it 03/06/2012. (Mainly for
communist party membership). Officer approved it today and said the card
will arrive in 2-3 weeks.
Finally it's complete.
