I'd like to rent a room in a single female's or a single mom's, or an old
couple's house.
The reason I want to rent a room in your home is that I want to cook for my
boy during our 2 week vacation, and I do wish to save some money than
staying in a hotel (I assumed staying in a hotel with kitchen in DC is more
expensive. I'd be happy to know if otherwise).

是会一直下雨。今年冬天我不想一直在室内用bike trainer，希望一周至少有两次户外
。我现在用的是买车时候的原配tyre:Continental Ultra Sport, 700x25。我还买了一
对Continental Gatorskin备着等下次再爆胎的时候换上。。。请问大家，这种情况，
有什么好的winter tyre推荐么？
大家的头盔都戴多久之后会换。不是为了升级，也不是为了好看，就是为了保护功能。
目前的Giro Skyla是07年的。几乎每天都用，到现在5岁了，看起来还好。有必要换么？

这是个非常简单通用的fly. 可以钓大小嘴，shad, trout.
shank上Tinsel, 再加三层bucktail layer, 最后作头型。
最下面的是basic pattern, 上面两个是改进加强型，增加了红尾巴和黑眼睛。但不是

这次绑的是Enrico Puglisi系列的bait fish，主要都是用人工合成的纤
维EP fiber. 简单，易学，成本低。 Enrico Puglisi有自己的网站，既卖绑好的fly,
也有receipt.
这个系列的fly，我从来没用过。有人喜欢用天然的羽毛或毛皮去绑，我倒不排斥合成
材料。能上鱼就行。用合成材料的一个好处就是不会造成屋里鸟毛，绒毛乱飞。
基本的pattern掌握后，可以很容易地变化出各种bait fish pattern. 我也是刚开始绑
，想模仿一些东岸常见的bait fish，如shad, peanut bunker, mini peanut bunker,
bluegill. 感觉关键的是最后怎么把fly修剪成你想要 |

根据商店里的改进了一下，主要是简化。
绑虾的话，主要是有bead chain，另外就是虾是倒着走的，因此钩柄为尾巴。
这个颜色主要用来对付钢头，#6-8钩，加铅。估计改变一下颜色海钓也可以。 |

Place: South Early Winter Spire

周三晚上下了班就直接赶去P&R跟Sunny/James/JJ/Liz会合，然后就往目的地去了。今
天的climb在State Route 20的Washington Pass附近，SR 20又称North Cascades
Highway，North Cascade National Park很大一部分就在这条线上。从seattle开车过
去要3个多小时呢，早上6点要集合，与其半夜开车，不如提前过去在trailhead睡觉。
天气并不是太好，一直有点担心会不会取消。在停车场的时候Steve打电话过来，说
Washington Pass那里正在雷暴警告，告诉我们开车的时候要注意天气。当然，他还说
了，If leaders says GO, it is a GO. 如果真的决定取消的话，leader也必须开车
到trailhead告诉我们，因为那里早就没手机信号了。

how to use them. Otherwise the only outcome is scraching things. The first
few times I use crampon, I hurt myself every time I handle it. Incorrect
self-arrest only hurt yourself. I know people have broken bones in winter
hike since they didn't raise their crampon when self-arrest. It takes
practise to do it right. Once another beginner accidentally step onto
someone's hand with crampon on, and blood spilled out at once. |
