动杆脱落
了，只有一个wiper现在可以动，而且咯吱响。
如果dealer修的贵是不是可以拍屁股走人找local的mechanics修？像这种小问题有必要
找dealer专修嘛？ |

wiper including the connector. You have to push the rubber insert into the
wiper slot though after you take the old one out. It could be challenging
that way. |

in pretty great shape，但是有几项问题：
1. Left and right outer CV joint boot torn, recommendation是replace the left
and right front CV axle assembly。费用600
2. air cleaner element to be dirty, recommendation是replace air filter
element，费用25.95
3. windshield wiper blades streaking, recommendation是replace wiper blades，
费用19.99
其中后面两项都是Caution，第一项是fail。所以他们建议我尽快更换前面的两个axle
。可是这个要600块啊，请问大家一下，这东西为啥要这么贵，有无必要在mazda
dealer换？是否可以在其它店里换更便宜些？ |

- Slow down
- Follow the traffic, keep enough space
BTW, I use rain-X treatment on windshields and other windows. It really
helped in rain, especially in storm as it rained so hard that you cannot see
through windshield even with wiper set to high if rain-X was not applied.
With rain-X treatment, I did't need to use wiper at speed above ~50 mph. The
rain would bead up and flow away.

是msrp$24,264的那个基本款。 22200＋ttl， 最后243xx出门
过程基本顺利， dealer在报价以及financing的时候耍几个小花招， 不理睬他的推销
， 他也没辙。
但是也忙活到半夜， 很多paperwork。

OK，今天终于把它修了。在dealer买的，不到20块，比我想象的便宜。dealer要收50块
的labor，连他自己都有点不好意思。所以我说算了吧，我先试试看能不能装的上。拿
回来一试，原来固定雨刷的螺丝是挤上去的，不用大力拿不下来，想想算了吧，别再把
玻璃搞破了。正好要到advanced auto parts 买其他东西，就让他们帮我看看，小二用
一个puller，一下就拿下来了，还顺手帮我把新雨刷装上去了。这里赞一下advanced
auto parts，为人民服务不忘本啊！ |

但是有些情况反而是危险的：Where Rain-X becomes a serious danger is in misty,
foggy conditions or if there is dew on the glass. Under these situations,
there appears to be too little water to form large enough beads for the
wipers to remove, resulting in a heavy haze that will NOT be removed by your
wipers(or quickly reforms). Driving into the low morning sun/oncoming
headlights etc. with that type of haze results in inpenatrable glare that

他还给我列了很多其他的呢，都是坏掉的，但是说影响没有那三个大，所以我暂时不打

person的看过车。因为是车盲，刚搬到我现在的地方也没认识的人带去看车，所以想先
做一下research到时候in person看车不会因为太兴奋就立刻做决定。
价格：两辆车的价格都是1万1左右，甲壳虫比mini贵100刀的样子
owner：甲壳虫是车主从dealer那里买的，mini是single owner
年份：如标题所示，一个2007，一个2006
mile：甲壳虫 65k， mini 67k
warranty： 甲壳虫有个5年， 10w mile的warranty，还有3年和4w mile左右 （车主说
她从dealer那里买车的时候买的这个warranty，二手车也可以有warranty吗？我真的比
较车盲，不懂。然后她说这个warranty已经包含在价格里了，可以transfer给我）；
mini没有

去车铺查了车，上上下下都查了。总结了一下建议修的有这几样：
比较贵的问题：
due for timing belt; tensioner if needed
front control arms bushings torn, use new arms;
front linkes and bushings
front and rear catalytic converter heatshilds rattling;
花费比较小的问题：
lower catalytic converter studs rotted with heatshields
third brake light lens broken
left front fender liner missing
rear wiper arm damaged, new wiper arm
滑动门有些涩，建议上上油，如果问题还没有解决，建议
replace center roller binding for the right door

性太差。我6年内年年都在dealer那里修东西。

throttle failed $1000.
suspension coil spring broken.

come on. why don't you trust me?
if it was just snow flakes, they are wiped off easily, nothing stays. the
only white stuff sticks to the windshield is the salty water that get dried
out after spreading by the windshield wiper.
the salty water may come from the splash made by snow tires in front of you,
or next to you, even from your previous trip. the droplets are clear, until
you spread it and dry out the water, the only thing left is the white salt
powder.
