共和党总统候选人 Fiorina 曾经指控：克林顿基金会只有 6% 的钱是用在慈善事业上
。Fact Check 说这误会是因为他只计算了克林顿基金会拨款给其他慈善机构的金额。
但是柯林顿基金会与其他基金会不同，他们不是个专门发钱的过路财神，而是自己直接
做了很多慈善事业。所以发出去的钱并不多，而自己用掉的才是大宗。所以 6% 的指控
是个误会。
Fact Check 引用了另外一个监督组织 Charity Watch 的审核，该审核认定他们 89%
的钱是用在慈善事业上。
同时 Fact Check 也反驳了福斯新闻主播 Gerri Willis 的指控。Willis 说 Charity
Navigator 停止了对克林顿基金会的评分，而把他们放在观察名单上，是因为觉得他们
有问题。但 Charity Navigator 否认这种说法，说不是因为有问题，只是因为克林顿
基金会运作方式与其他基金会不同，他们的模型不适用。

不过在我打电话之前发现罚单有错误，我租车是jeep的爱国者，警察给我开的单子上面
make 年份 颜色都对 但是车型写的是切诺基。 我记得之前说如果信息错误可以不
付罚款，但是我记得上庭时候才能以此为借口免除罚款。 但是我是游客，不可能跑到
德州上庭的。
请教下这种情况如何argue？ 是说自己根本没开这个车么 还是说警察开错罚单了？

same category price wise.
As for Enclave's size, it is same as Odyssey length wise, little bit wider.
So if you can drive a minivan, you should not have problem driving Enclave.
But congrats on your Explorer decision, nice looking SUV too. |

1. 用piece-wise函数趋进连续函数，不伦如何只是近似。实际上大部分信息都丢失了。
2. 录音中的连续－〉数字转换过程由录音设备决定。播放中的数字 ->连续转换过程由
DAC决定。这一来一去不同算法中间的细微差别，也许会放大piece-wise和连续函数的
近似差。
最终1+2导致人耳可以感受到
我怀疑这些会影响瞬间的频率变化。举个金融例子，对同一条利率曲线用不同的
interpolation,会导致截然不同的forward rate。

Much better than the 27, better than the 7b. Comfort wise, I can sleep with

O(N*M). 可以选择从左下角 或者右上角 都可以。
网上已经列出五种解法 并一起以真实数据比较算法速度。发现竟然 Improved Binary
partition （利用二分） 的算法是最快的。但是这个算法的复杂度非常难证明，如果
有人可以证明出来，我愿意发完我所有包子给他。

1. 给定一个sorted array，如何查找所有pair，他们的和等去一个给定sum。
要求给一个不用hash table的方法
给了一个用binary search加速查找过程的方法。
2. 如何用一个1G内存sort一个10G的文件，假设硬盘空间足够大。
刚开始给了一个pair-wise sort，后经讨论improve成K-way sort。相比K-way sort，
pair-wise sort要求更多的硬盘访问次数。
后来讨论一下如果硬盘空间有限，例如只有10.5G，如何做K-way sort。
3. 给定一个有向图，如何判定是不是bipartite，只讨论的算法，没有要求写code

发帖数: 1 | 44 我一直强调的是绝对不可以在hashtable的设计(尤其在面试的时候)用copy-on-write，
一定要用lock。
第一点：最基本的常识，只能有一个thread来写，比如hashtable的值用作counter。用
copy-on-write，立马废掉。
第二点: 更进一步的synchronization，是要保证global ordering。比如狗家股票real
time streaming, 绝对不可以11:11:11.002的报价先写入，然后11:11:11.000的报价
后写入。这就有不少的实现方法。这个已经超出了hashtable面试的范围，但是如果你
想exceed expectation，mention this.
很多刚毕业的菜鸟喜欢在面试的时候胡吹一些"advanced technology"以达到shock-and
-owe的效果，use it wisely。比如下面这个就非常的un-wise：
“你知道你一个bucket有100个element，多线程同时写在mutex上要等多久么？不过你
提的这个throughput可能用mutex也能达到”

turning on a toaster, both electricity wise and temperature wise. And CFLs
are not good for recessed light.
I just put 6 dimmable LED BR30 in the kitchen and they are brighter than
regular 65W bulbs. Costco has them (FEIT) at the cheapest. |
