虽然《唐顿庄园》演的是历史，它展现的风情仍有与今日英国社会相通之处。其中最主

默，硬生生的把美国说作幽默，英国说成喜剧，法国说做witty，不能全当真的，是当
时美国人给自己打气而已。
但是我读他这篇，觉得他的重点是说，幽默的表达主要在形式，而喜剧和witty在于内
容。这个分法有没有意思，就可以讨论了。

面人物描绘很丰满，难得的是并不是像很多个人意识很强的小说里的只是为了witty而
witty，写的都是乡村生活故事貌似普通平淡的事，不靠故事曲折或猎奇取胜, 但是很
有魔力的是，她的故事往往读开头的几句话就会被深深吸引。
我可以吹牛说她是唯一的一位我在她／他得诺贝尔文学奖之前读过她／他的书的人吗（
读多了英文小说，读不下去莫言啊）？一则她是加拿大国宝级的作家，每次学校里book
sale的Canadian Literature一类里，她的书最多而又卖得最快。另外，Jonathan
Franzen还专门写过称赞她的essay,

请版主解释一下，为什么oldpanda登陆35次就被认作老id，可享受一天之内多次PA而不
被封禁的待遇,而cmft登陆15次就被定义为【恶意马甲】并享受封禁14天的特级待遇.
cmft作为一名遵纪守法的良好id，并未触犯任何版规站规,唯一做过的就是对版务
的一些处理提出过质疑,而公开版务讨论也是版主在竞选时曾经承诺过的,同时质疑版务
的还有其他网友，如fiu,尽管fiu的质疑帖子也被版主无理删除了 ，但也没有封禁处理.
请问版主封禁cmft 14天的依据何在! |

这个十字路口其实有11名警员在场。原来多伦多警队要教育市民，提高他们的过马路安全意识。在市区繁忙路段，早上9时至午间时份，各大十字路口都有警员驻守。警方对乱过马路的市民，不少都只是告诫了事，只有几名市民，运气较差，因为违反交通灯号而接到告票。到中午，警方在这个十字路口发出了26张告票，在登打士街夹维多利亚街(Victoria St.)，警方发出了30张告票。
