堆堆的老墨， state park本身和东岸比起来土的掉渣，在东岸，我以前每天上班都经
过大河，远处的山峦绵延不绝，就是经过的农庄都经过修饰，野花也是别有风情，错落
有致，一路赏心悦目。我现在越来越怀念东海岸的故地，这里许多在德州的朋友过的也
不错，但是我如果在这里一直安家，很难让我下决心，这里就象是中国的大西部，不是

the gate (chicken wire fence) to the fishing place is currently closed (not
sure when it will be open).
you can drive to the million dollar townhouses on the left side of the
bridge (you can see it on map.google.com under satellite) and walk to the "
cement wall" shore to fish, you should be able to see some people fishing
there anytime of the day.

昨晚，也就是大年夜晚上，周六晚上十二点半左右。我坐在床上上网，突然听见楼下两
声非常有穿透力的响声，开始以为有人放鞭炮，但很快觉得不对劲，鞭炮不可能这么清
脆彻响，然后就听到有人歇斯底里的大喊help，还有跑动动声响。
下意识到可能有枪击，我赶紧关灯，也不敢跑到窗边一探究竟，害怕被误伤。。。
估计有个十分二十分钟，警车、消防车、救护车全部到齐，灯光闪耀，但是没有鸣笛，
我这时候才敢小开百叶窗，偷偷拍了一张，还不敢打闪光。。。。

一些重大事件）看作为革命性事件的可能促发因素。这种观点再一次反映了知识份子的
天真。笔者认为，大量的群体性事件对中国政治的稳定实际上有着巨大的正面作用。当
前不少地方的地方政府软弱，中国大规模爆发群体性抗争事件的阈值因此较低，社会矛
盾也不容易有大规模的堆积。此外，当前中央政府对地方发生的群体性抗争事件采取的
基本态度就是让地方政府自己去处理。只要地方政府能控制住局面，中央就保持袖手旁
观的姿态；但是如果地方政府让事件失控，或者在处理过程中造成了流血事件，在国内
外引起广泛关注，中央政府则会对地方政府官员进行处罚。中央政府的这一做法强化了
群体性事件参加者“反贪官不反皇帝”的心态，同时也促使地方政府在处理群体性事件
时表现出了极大的多样性和灵活性，从而大大缓解了中国群体性事件走向政治化的倾向。
第六，与一些领袖终身制的国家相比，中国已经形成了一套比较成型的国家领导每

ton-Salem Journal)报道说，该名男子为53岁的傅勒(Michael Fuller)，他去年11月17
日前往当地沃尔玛连锁分店购物，买了吸尘器、微波炉及一些日常用品，总共消费了47
6美元。
结帐时，傅勒从皮夹掏出一张面额高达100万美元的纸钞给店员，当场被店员识破并
告知无法收取假钞，但男子仍坚称钞票“绝对是真的”。
报道指，店员通报主管后，沃尔玛超市决定将这起事件报警。警察以企图使用伪钞
购买商品的重罪罪名，将男子移送法办，目前他仍在押。

不应该随便撤除，这是UVA所在大学城暴乱的导火线，虽然我反对川普和受他影响的白

看完他blog的《现在在哪里买房风险小》，我只能笑着摇摇头。在我眼里，这个列表与
其说是“风险小”列表，不如说是“房子难涨地区列表”。试论证一二：
1. 常言道“强者恒强，弱者恒弱”。NYC, SF地区房价高企不是一年两年了，支撑房价
的不是那个affordability的percentage，而是能afford的人口数和房子总数的比例。
这里看百分比是没有多大意义的。只要还有人能买得起还愿意买，即使affordability
只有15%又如何呢？
