只是不知道共和党这次上台，能不能重提并通过当年那个法案。估计也悬。

这次演出ACSSY筹备了很久，参加演出的同学也排练了很长时间，有很多有趣的节目构思。再加上还有很多外请的精彩节目，相信一定不会让大家失望。
剧透一下，根据节目单，晚会的开场节目《We're PHD》就不容错过，而且晚会会准时开始，有兴趣观赏演出的朋友千万不要来迟了。
等节目单出来了，我们会再来发布的，有2个精彩的相声，武当功夫学校特意为这场晚会编排的一个功夫小品，川剧变脸，还有大量的歌舞、器乐等，此外，值得一提的是，由同学们原创，精心编排的2个歌舞剧都相当有趣，可惜都放在了开头，迟到的同学就会错过了。

Hadley楼下的lounge，显然比不上Woolsey Hall，不过
俺们请来的压轴名角是朱明瑛和王昌元，比你那山野、郭

当时她们二位都在美国进修，真正可称跟俺们穷学生“打成
一片”了。记得那年请她们两位和一位年轻男士（居然无论

the best thing that could avoid a misunderstanding.
From East's point of view, it's not completely clear that West knows East
started with AT72 -- it could be A72. So there is a chance that West may err
in desperation. So this lie can hardly cost, provided West thinks.
I remember that there was another (famous) case where the vague (middle card)
is essential as only a trump switch defeats the contract, else declarer c |

Justin Lall,Josh Donn等，我觉得都够格专家称号。
讨论肯定不能代替看书，而是相辅相成。书上讲的是基础，讨论及实战是对基础理论的
实际运用。
Woolsey的Matchpoints一般是公认为双人赛方面迄今为止的最佳著作。还有一本
Partnership Defense也是经典。 |

Bobby Levin, Kit Woolsey, Lew Stansby, Justin Lall, Josh Donn. They all play
2/1. Some of them are only national champions, but I still respect their
opinions. Also, you are right, some (e.g. Fred/Brad) play reverse flannery (
1D - 2H shows 5-4 or 5-5 non-forcing), so the context may not be exactly the
same. However, none of them plays 3H as 5-5 GF.

刚上来的时候，另一桌已经打完了，4S超一。其实是个不错的满贯，但是因为黑桃4-0
分布而做不成。没人认为中国队在这副牌上会失分，倒是有可能美国队合理叫进满贯却
不幸宕掉。Kit一开始就说：USA can't pick up anything here, so will need a
miracle on the last board. 他没有想到的是，miracle不用等到下一副。。。
然后32副，kit没多久就说庄家的打法可能会倒三个。直到胡转攻红心之后，大家都认
为肯定宕三了，已经开始讨论接下去规则是打八副还是sudden death了，结果西家出了

丁韪良，字冠西，原名William Alexander Parsons Martin，1827-1916，是美北长老
会（American Presbyterian Mission [North]）派遣到中国的传教士。丁韪良在中国
的生活长达62年（1850-1916，其中有不连续的四年返回美国休假），在华期间，他长
期担任北京同文馆的总教习，并在1898年戊戌变法期间被任命为京师大学堂第一任西学
总教习。虽然丁韪良在第二次鸦片战争和庚子拳乱期间的行为有所争议，但是他为中国
当时的“西学东渐”文化运动做出了功勋卓越的成绩，值得肯定。
