但是没有煤气，是电热水和电heat pump。
这样冬天电费会很高吧？为什么八十年代建还没通气？
好像用gas furnace又便宜又舒服吧？

town house 25-40 万。 社区即有乡村的安静， 又有城市的方便。 从人口组成来看，
白70% 左右， 亚裔， 非裔， 和西裔 各占10% 左右。家庭收入中位数较高（ In
August 2013, Olney appeared as #22 in Money magazine's "Top-earning towns"
edition of "America's Best Places to Live."）。有较大犹太社区。学区非顶尖，
却也较好，竟争压力小（小学 8-10 分（Cashell, Greenwood, Olney, Belmont), 中
学9-10分 (Rosa Park, Farquhar)， 高中7-8分（Sherwood).如果亚裔再增加5-10%，

最好是找个老师，如果不找老师的话，去买本教材，我当时练的一本蓝摇盗版教材，名
字忘了。这里可以上amazon或者musiciansfriend找本review比较好的教材,search "
bass slap"。上节拍器,坚持从基本功开始练。手型和具体技术可以买DVD看，我看得是
victor wooten的。
换套新弦，ernie ball有专用的slap&pop弦，好像是截面形状不一样，银色好一些，不过我没买过。想买可以问问店小二。
一开始不用上效果，练到一定程度的时候可以捉摸捉摸效果。另外，有的琴
pickup设计的不适于slap&pop。音色比较好的是那种funk琴，musicman什么的。
就这样，慢慢练，几个月之后教材里的段子练差不多，就可以搞些简单的了，比如子曰
,red hot chilli peppers。要想更牛玩纯funk,fusion,达到stanley clark,primus,
victor wooten等的水准，那就是水滴石穿，十年面壁了。

我很遗憾~~~~ 只能说 我前辈子没有修炼到家，和他握手的机会都没有。
之后我一直追踪victor wooten到纽约的消息，后来他又来做了个给小孩子的教学讲座
，又是远距离聆听。
不过能亲眼见到以前梦中常出现的大人物，已经很幸福了。 |

这个idea其实不是我的, 还要回忆到看Victor Wooten演出的最末段, 5座格莱美奖贝斯
手和他带来的乐团玩了一个time signature从11/8，10/8, ..., 一直变化, 最后数到1
/8的jam
演出结束后Wooten先森跑来和大家见面, 我当时突然联想到自己新曲子的solo部分还没
写, 正不愿又做成熟练的blues rock风格, 就当即和大湿说: 乃的从11/8数到1/8的设
计太屌了, 我能不能借来写我曲子的solo部分? 大湿对这样的提议完全不排斥反而很高
兴：ok的，年轻人乃大胆滴去试就对了
虽然是定下了把solo的time signature从11/8, 10/8, 9/8, 8/8, 7/8, 6/8, 5/8, 4/8
, 3/8, 2/8, 一直数到1/8的idea, 但是我下定决心不要把她搞成爵士, 相反地要重起
来, 玩金属风格, 另外再加上从A调开始变化, 最后转回A调的自我限制. 满足这三个要
求就变成了一分钟的solo包含:
1) 11种time signature
2) 4次转调

据星岛日报报道，首宗银行劫案发生于昨晨8时15分，两名黑人男子进入位于万锦市近7号公路(Hwy 7) 的窝顿大道8601号(Warden Avenue) 一间道明加拿大信托银行分行，两人走近柜位，其中一人向柜位职员递上一张写有「打劫！有枪」字样的字条。虽然匪徒并未亮出武器，银行职员未敢反抗，匪徒掠去一笔现金后逃去。

private elementary school Christ the Cornerstone Academy for seven days as a

感觉 rockville 华人更多，是不是华人超市也更好一些，中文电影啥的都有。将来读
大学 U of maryland 好像比U of V 也总体更好一些
北维 有高大上的mall,消费税好像也低一些， 医院也不错，离机场近，有的高中排名
比churchill, wooten 的更高，但是北维高中的华裔好像不多，哪个高中华裔多一些啊。
还想问问父母是公民，想申请老年公寓，哪家华裔老人多一下啊。。。

难逃eliminated的命运。Braves这么多年了，还是这样，少数牛人加一堆烂人，
牛人一熄火，烂人们也没了辙，打不着也不会选球，非要大挥棒子撞运气，其实
昨天的Livan和今天的Ortiz都投了不少坏球，多一点耐性的话，结果至少好很多，
这方面Angels和Twins就不错，看看Angels的7，8，9棒Wooten, Molina, Gil给
阳极造成多大damage.
下面的比赛，大家的SP都差不多，除了看谁发挥好，还得靠棒子们的run support，
希望剩下这四支队给我们带来更好看的比赛。 |

这三位是现而今最出名的solo bass手了。他们使的全可以称的上是名琴。VW的Fodera
大概在四千左右，SC的Alembic在同样的量级，MM的Fender在Guitar Center里大概七八
百就可以拿到。贴这个主要是希望给大家买琴时有点儿启示：
1. 名琴也不是贵的没谱；
2. 买bass四根弦就够；
3. 所谓“好”音色可以很不同，完全是个见人见智的东西。 |
