Senko worm 以及类似的worm主要有3种穿法, Texas rig (or T-rig), Carolina rig (
or C-rig), 和 Wacky-rig. 各种rig都是渔民们长期经验的积累,都很有效, 各有所长.
这里主要介绍wacky rig.
1. Rig
Wacky rig 穿法很简单, 使用合适大小的钩子, 从worm的中间穿过 (见副图). 和T-rig
以及C-rig不同, wacky rig 通常不加附重 (T-rig 也可以weightless), 以保证其优
越的presentation. 基于这样的原因, 如果岸钓的话, 需要使用较大的worm才能甩得远
. 如果船钓或在桥上,pier上, 小一点的worm也好用. 其次, 由于wacky-rig穿法的特殊
性, 应选用体态均匀对称的worm.
有关worm的品牌, Senko是最有名的, 5”左右为大嘴首选. 但是Senko相对而言比较贵,
而且好像不怎么耐用. 类似的便宜产品很多, 比如Wave worm, Tiki |

发帖数: 456 | 6 来的时候就有tape worm，vet说没有跳蚤。就给脖子上滴了几滴药（我以为是治tape
worm的，现在想来也许只是预防跳蚤的），粪检说啥也没有。三个礼拜以后又发现tape
worm，明明看到bb里有活体，拿去检查，人家非说里面还是啥也没有！后来去shelter
抱怨，人家给了片drontal，后来就没发现了。
几个月过去了，上周四晚上又在bb里发现了tape worm，不明白到底是怎么染上的，难
道是跳蚤？于是往小仙儿的小白腿上多看了一眼，果然发现一个黑芝麻样的东西，可惜
扒拉了好几下都没再找见，小仙儿也不配合，于是放弃。昨天买来tape worm tabs和
flea comb，把药片碾碎拌在罐头里，她吃了两口就死活不吃了！！！为了逼她吃，一
晚上都没再喂她别的。可她除了埋就是埋，坚决不吃，抹爪子上就甩……
今天上午实在没耐心了，把她扯着爪子从床底下揪出来，包在毯子里掰开嘴巴直接扔了
一片药，然后捏紧她的嘴。怕她没咽下去，又掰开看看，果然还在舌根。拿手捅了两下
，闭紧，再掰开就不见了。紧张的我一直在抖啊抖。
刚刚又把她抓过来梳跳蚤，发现一只死的一只活的一只不知道死活的……

了至少两倍，但更恶心的是 fruit worm，至少三个果子里有，新农民积极性受到严

你的想法和Worm Bin形似而神不同。Worm Bin裡不放土，因為任何蚯蚓都不吃土。Worm
Bin裡放的不同種類Bedding Material是蚯蚓會吃的東西，所以蚯蚓肥收集到最後雖然
也有些蚯蚓不吃的Bedding Material，但只要時間夠久，最後收集的蚯蚓肥中吃不完的
Bedding Material很有限，Worm Casting所佔比例極高，用來做肥不需要很大量就會收
效。
但你的方法裡那些大量的土從頭到尾沒有經過蚯蚓的腸胃，放再久也一樣。這法子最
後的產品當然也有蚯蚓糞，但Concentration會很低。
直接將廚餘埋蚯蚓出沒的菜地效果不會更好，但多一事不如少一事，對你還是最可行的
辦法。

蚓肥是好东西，也非常容易制作， 我用的是以前邮差留下的两个装信的塑料盒子
或者去walmart 买 storage bin 也行
然后两个都钻眼， 准备好一个托盘接未来会流下的 worm juice （好肥料）。
接下来是准备base：土，纸屑，蔬果废料， 按照1：1：1 混合好， 两个盒子都放点，
重叠上，浇适量水 最上面的盒子最好弄个啥盖子盖下， 我是自己锯了一块5合板给盖
上了，防止水分蒸发太快。最下面是那托盘， 或者干脆用个大盆接水。
最后出场的是蚯蚓， 自己家后院挖也行， 网上买也行， 推荐 red wriggler, 有人研
究说那东西是 worm factory 最有效的工人。
过大约3周以后，土啊， 纸屑啊都不会看到了， 能看到就直接是 worm compost， 红
蚯蚓在里面畅游。那时候，可以直接把香蕉皮， 橘子皮，捡剩下的烂叶子直接丢进去
培养蚓肥了。
此法无异味，我把这盒子放在后院走廊的一角，至今未被破获。 |

ring worm不是肠道寄生虫， 长在皮肤上的，应该是非常小吧。 vet确诊ring worm是
用blacklight（紫外灯）照。 有ring worm就会看见绿色的点点。 |

neurogenetics，也罢。。
目前对neural circuit的理解我觉得还处于基本无知的阶段。如果是想了解到
computation的层次，在更复杂的系统太困难了，像老鼠里面一个神经元几千个突触，
即便是只传递一两级神经元就几乎无法理解了。在大动物里面的optic imaging和
photostimulation面临的limitation也比worm要多很多吧。可能worm里面就是
electrophysiology难了一些，不过感觉genetic encoded voltage sensor的实用化可
能也不远了吧
我觉得另外一个比较好的系统或许是retina，不过同样也有人怀疑retina和brain的
circuit是否可以相比较。
至于worm的circuit和更高等动物的circuit有没有共通点，现在可能很难看出来，不过
也许最后会surprise大家呢：） |

Worm casting的NPK比較均衡，效果持久，用多也絕不會燒根。有些植物給我曬壞或種
壞，我把它直接放蚯蚓箱裡面，只要根莖不全死，一兩天就又會活。只要餵蚯蚓的食物
平衡，Worm casting裡也有不少植物需要的Trace Minerals，效果不錯。
(腐熟後的)雞肥以磷為主，效果直接又快，但過量很容易燒根。也沒有很多trace
minerals。
價格方面若都用買的應該是雞肥便宜。 |

发帖数: 903 | 30 市售的Worm Casting大部份為1-0-0其實是很多人動手養蚯蚓的一個小原因，商業生產
的蚯蚓肥飼料大部份為木屑，只有氮，PK很少。家裡養的吃廚餘就均衡得多，也可控制
。缺鈣加蛋殼，缺鉀餵香蕉皮，缺磷餵點毛豆殼或碎乾果屑。麻煩是麻煩了點，但重點
是廚餘善盡其用，環保。
蚯蚓肥若單看NPK會看不出好處。蚯蚓便便顆粒極細，外面包裹著蚯蚓體表黏液，像是
個藥膠囊，有Time Release效果。蚯蚓肥不但沒有臭味，喜歡土地的人甚至會覺得蚯蚓
肥有股黑土的香味。蚯蚓肥有點像中藥，光驗氨基酸維他命的話其實已可斷定中藥根本
沒用。中藥藥效比較溫和，藥效持久，也吃不壞。雞糞(或大部份的有機有鴨肥)像西藥
，比較直接霸道，有立竿見影效果，但即使腐熟過的雞糞也不能過量，不然植物無法一
次吸收大量釋放的NPK，很容易燒根。把植物插進Worm Bin越活越好，同一棵植物插到
雞糞袋裡大概一天就死了。
不過這只是我個人偏見，南加全是Heavy Clay，又缺水，不大幅改土什麼都種不好，所
以我對compost，top soils需求極大。我有個Compost箱大量生產，三個月就可以搞出

发帖数: 903 | 31 講到收蚯蚓便便就是養蚯蚓最傷感情的一件事了，因為實在是太麻煩了。這也是女生想
養蚯蚓最大的死穴。
首先聲明，以下敘述已屬於恐怖片等級，膽小觀眾請迴避。
大部份人收蚯蚓便便都是利用蚯蚓怕光特性將全部箱內之物倒在一張大塑膠袋上，分成
一堆堆小火山，每隔十幾二十分鐘就將表面的已沒有蚯蚓的一層掃入收集，重覆幾次後
蚯蚓就會堆成一座小肉山，最後將一坨坨肉山全部放進有新Bedding Material的箱子中
，養個兩三個月後再搞一次。除非你完全不怕蚯蚓，不然那最後一關不好過，畢竟一坨
蠕動的肉球抓手裡挺噁心的，戴手套避免了弄髒，但手感仍然在，噁心程度僅略減。
另外一種方法是在箱子用食物分區方式，引誘蚯蚓往有食物的地方移動，但這法子很慢
，得耗上好幾個禮拜，也有不少蚯蚓不識抬舉，硬是不搬家，我用的Worm Bin 360算挺
熱賣的產品，但取肥的效果還是一般。最後還是得用手分。
商業生產的是用篩子篩，快則快矣，但一般人哪可能搞台機器每三個月專為侍候蚯蚓。
不過再怎麼細心分，蚯蚓肉山堆裡還是有很多便便，蚯蚓便便裡也會有數不清的小蚯蚓

Compost是用餵蚯蚓食物。但Compost若對了蚯蚓的味那就會吸引蚯蚓。Compost當中出
現蚯蚓一般是因為Compost不會發熱或發過熱已腐熟，有食物溫度也適當，所以吸引蚯
蚓。
Compost四周邊出現蚯蚓很普遍。萬一Compost發熱蚯蚓會鑽走，所以不用怕弄死它們。
你若怕飛虫可是箱子裡面Compost上鋪幾個大垃圾袋保溫保溼，也可防止大部份的飛虫
產卵在Compost裡。 |

她排出的节片当薯片渣吃了，囧呀……
给阿猫喂药时也是像你最后尝试的那样，把她包在毯子里，露出头，把药片塞进嘴里然
后按住嘴以防她吐出来。注意她是一定不会心甘情愿咽下去的，可以尝试的是滴几滴水
在她嘴上，水流进嘴里后她就必须做吞咽动作了，这样即使她抵触最终还是会把药吃进
去。不是很容易，但好在tape worm的药效不错，一般一次服用就管用了。
对付flea有专门的项圈，可以让小仙儿戴一段时间，确定彻底没有以后再摘。 |

孩子近一个月来身体不好，食欲差，说很累，有过敏迹象（揉眼睛，流鼻涕，早晨起来

一搜，发现如果人被传染上了round worm，会有上述种种症状，很是担心。

式生物不好搞，从简单的入手反倒容易，不能说所有，但是还是会有很多比较保守的
pathway的
也许worm的circuit不一定能够反映多少mamal的东西，但是里面的涉及到的基因，比如
受体，激酶之类的，还是很有用的。很多重要的基因其实都在虫子或者yeast中最先发
现的，不是么 |
