that will be great, as happiness mainly comes from two parts: family and job.

Why push yourself? Life is too short, there are more significant things to
worry about, if you like to eat while reading, just do it. I have the same

先说明不是劝退贴啊。match day一天天临近,越来越感觉今年可能没戏了。如果明年
再试一次也未必会比今年好,很多无法改变的因素比如毕业年限,USMLE分数都摆在那
里,从三月match day结束到九月再申请,除了考step3之外好像也没什么可以改变的了
,该做OB的也做了,connection也不是几个月就能建立的。看到身边有人3年都没有
match上最后又回学校读书转行,实在不想再浪费时间了。当然明年还会再试一次,但
也想同时考虑别的职业,lab是不想再做了,和我情况相似的说说看,大家有PlanB吗?

1. why: 描述中有why的,一般都不是therapeutic response。因为说why,就带有对病
人的不信任,也就不能让病人对护士信任了。
2. don't worry: 病人生病了怎么能不worry呢?说don't worry 或者类似的话,没有
关注病人的感受,而且有给病人虚假保证之嫌。因为任何疾病都有可能发生变化,谁也
不能保证明天会怎样。
3. I suggest(advise) you:向病人提建议。美国护理中,不赞成医务人员建议病人
怎样,而应该把情况向病人全面介绍后,由病人自己决定。
4. if I were you:也有向病人提建议之嫌,而且带有否定病人的意思。
5. you should:建议或者否定病人
6. ignore the client:凡是看到有这类行为或者说话中忽视病人,都不是

A week or so ago I stumbled upon a Chinese language version of Animal Farm
in a local bookshop. I was slightly surprised to see it, but the back cover
described it as being about 1950’s England, so perhaps the censors signed
off on it as a criticism of the west. It was only 9rmb, so I bought it as a
gift for one of my co-workers to see how she would react.
