发帖数: 2868 | 8 不差钱的话在southlake买房子，southlake&university park应该是dfw最有钱人住的
地方，没有之一. 不过那里的房子基本都要几个米，不是一般人能买得起的. 一般老中
都喜欢住在75以西，635以北，比如说plano,allen,frisco. 那边的学区也不错.
靠近fort worth这边, coppell, flower mound, keller&carrollton也都还可以. 房价
对于白领来说还算可以接受. 看着装修，地点不错的要差不多35万以上.
而且在dfw买房子，因为traffic的原因，要考虑地点. 上下班的时候635，75不是人走
的. 不过现在635好歹修完了，traffic比以前好一些.
最后要注意的是dfw这边买房子的地点和学区的划分还是有区别的. 你在irving买房子
不见得就上不了coppell的school. 买房子的时候要看房子具体属于哪片school
district. |

whites, actually over 80% according to citydata.com. to me, i kinda want
some diversity.
honestly, lz, if you will be working near fort worth, coppell is a place you
should seriously consider. it is a middle upper class neighborhood, a
decent house in coppell will cost you over $400k. plus, it is more diverse
than southlake, which to me, is a plus. |

想换个小车。
车是2014年从dealer处买入， 本人第二任车主 （不算dealer）， 2007 Dodge grand
caravan SXT. 3.8L, V6 engine。买入后精心维护， 没有任何事故， alternator
2015更换， tire 9 成新，安装了倒车摄像头， 买入后自己开了15000 mile左右，以
前在纽约基本不大开，搬家到fort worth之后才增加了点mileage， 现在是99300 mile
。 车左后有块dent， 从dealer买的时候就有， 具体见图片。 clean title。no
accident, everything works。

southlake, coppell, colleyville. 如果不介意开车可以考虑一下keller或者
colleyville. keller在dfw应该算是中产，colleyville是中上. 没有必要去southlake
, 尤其不考虑学区房的话. 上下班的时间你走走dfw这边的路，你就知道有多堵了.
这种事情应该去citydata上面去问，有些老美在dfw这边生活了几十年，能给出比较准
确的答案. realtor忽悠southlake八成希望你在那里买房. |

It was cold whole time, temperature was around 40F, really windy, felt
around freezing point.
Started the race with several fellow runners in the same training group at
slow pace... first 3 miles was at 9:50, 9:05, 8:49, but couldnt warm up
enough at this pace, my fingers were frozen.
Decided to run on my own from mile 4, next 4 miles were at 8:14, 7:22, 7:37,
7:47... passed half pace group 1:55 and two marathon pace groups during

发帖数: 454 | 27 一大早起来拉上亲友团就去了30迈以外的另一个城市Fort Worth. 幸好我犯了个错误报
名报成了个人赛组,可以不用赶9点的第一波(娱乐组).
刚开始还是蛮轻松的, 在大约2迈的地方跑岔气了一次, 调整了大约10分钟. 障碍一般
都不是太难, 也就是军事训练中见到的那些咚咚, 过泥谭, 绳桥, 木墙....讨厌的是鞋
里面进去的沙子,从头到尾就是在捣乱, 很后悔没有带鞋套过来. 大约在4.5迈的地方有
个大约半迈的沼泽区比较累人, 差点抽筋. 之后就比较简单了, 尤其是爬墙很naive..
最后的冲刺和一个gg比赛, 我们两个刷~~刷~~刷~~超过无数人,最后几乎同时冲过终点,
我们友好的握手"Good Game",人群还给以欢乐的掌声.hoho
比赛中大家都很友爱, 从垠里面爬出来往往不容易, 一个大个子肌肉男帮了我两次, 很
不错. 比赛的时候我想超过一个蓝色的老头...一直没有成功, 郁闷...不过, Anyway,
Yeah...我完成了它!
6.4迈, 15组障碍, 费时1小时22分钟, 还是太弱了. 人家观光组跑第一的mm只花了58分
钟,而且面不改色心不跳的....惭愧 |

last weekend at Pechanga. The casino is most known due to Jerry Yang. They
have over 50 tables in the poker room. There are many game options and
hardly need to wait.
I tried to experiment if the low end table (1/2NL, 40-80) is really worth
playing. So my buy-in is 60 for each session. If I got busted, the session
is over. I will take a break and start a new session on a different table.
