The make-believe president finally decided to address the out of control gun
violence in his hometown Friday before departing on a long-awaited vacation

Chicago police were flagged down by a man on the street as they
responded to the sound of gunfire Friday night and found a woman lying on
the ground, bleeding from gunshot wounds to her upper body.

One person was fatally shot and another was wounded during a robbery at a
Chinese restaurant in southeast Houston Monday morning.
The shooting happened about 10:45 a.m. in the 4500 block of Griggs,

Police said two suspects rushed into the eatery, demanded money and then
opened fire, wounding two workers.
