. Boulevard around 6 a.m. It appeared one car slammed into the rear of
another car, a Ford Focus, that was stopped in a center turn lane.
There were two occupants in the car that was struck, and firefighters had to
use special equipment to free them from the wreckage. Both were transported
to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital.

the side of the road in the Hollywood Hills.
The crash happened around 7:15 p.m. in the 8000 block of Mulholland Drive,
near Laurel Canyon Boulevard.
The victim was able to get out of the wreckage.
“The vehicle is on its side. Somehow she was able to get outside of the
vehicle prior to Los Angeles Fire Department arrival,” Capt. Gene
Bednarchik said.

plane crash near Denver last year that killed two.
The National Transportation Safety Board said Tuesday that it appears likely
the pilot was disoriented and lost control of the airplane. Recordings from
a GoPro camera found in the wreckage show the pilot and passenger
repeatedly taking photographs of themselves with their cellphones during
