Actually, those senentences are written by the one who is very familiar
with Qian's work. But in the book of My Son HH, Sr. HH said Jr. HH just read

会议上见不到的，可以想办法应用他们的东西，然后主动
把文章发过去，套近乎。
在第五年的时候，去那些可以和他们碰上的会议，等他们
问你怎么样的时候，就说很忙，要准备上tenure了。学术
圈子的人愿意帮忙的可能会主动提出做你的letter writers，
如果他们不主动提，你可以想他们求教谁作为letter writters
合适。
如果遇到一个很好的、有名望的letter writer，最好不要
和此人成为合作者。否则，很可能被学校排除在外。
一般情况下，最后选定2n个人，n是学校要求你提交的人数。

assets transactions, account is not clear, tax return is not matching the
IRS's transcript, company aquisition but not enough proof, paycheck has any
unknow item that PF suspect, attached PUD qustionares are not satisfied PF's
guidline....
Your case is easy or not will depend on your agent's preparation and review
too. As long as you provide what PF ask for, it will be smooth :)

发帖数: 164 | 18 写得有点晚，去年5月份开始看房，到12月底close, 今年1月底搬到Westfield, 搬家整
理，终于有时间写一点体会。因为要选择在我和我太太上班的中间，主要集中看
Berkeley Heights, New Providence, 和Westfield. 刚开始看BH, NP多一些，发现很
难找到一个稍微平一点的lot （我们不喜欢有坡度的房子), 中间NP一个房子还满意,
后来Agent 发现 卖家有过一个小孩去世，就walk away. 后来集中在 Westfield看,
这里房子总体比NP, BH要贵一些, lot 也小，但是lot平, 我们的预算只能买到 30年代
到60年代的房子,选择其实也不多，后来代理发现这个房子出来，我们总体满意，是第
一个看的，当天就下offer, 过了两三天，卖家又来一个offer, 我们加了一点钱（直到
达我估计的市场价位) 拿到，最后觉得房价还是比较合理，因为比银行的评估价(
assessment) 还低了一万。整个过程代理比较给力，第一个下offer也有点优势。

前段时间 我特意 花时间 写了一个 帖子，结果 被 版主 删了，估计是被认为故意做
广告的。我买房之前就在这里读了不少有用的帖子，觉得受益匪浅，我只是想把自己的
经历分享一下，回馈一下本版，或许有人会觉得有用，结果被误解，希望版主不要盲目
删帖，这个是我真实的个人经历，希望不要被误认为广告贴，现在把我提到过的Agent
和 贷款的人信息删掉，如果有人想知道，可以直接站内信息问我, 我不是经常登入买
买提，可能会回复晚一点。
我觉得有些信息大家分享在这个平台， 对大部分人可能还是有点用处的，比如最近 NJ
的一个朋友收到一个 号称IRS 的电话, 说几年的税都报错了,要给他们汇钱补交，他们
几乎以假乱真，结果都差点去银行汇钱了，最后发现是一个骗局, 如果不是朋友告诉，
我想说不定我也会差点上当。

wolverine。所以商家才用这个名字。注意这部不是wolverine origin的续集，而是
last stand的续集。好在换了个导演，至少不会像last stand和first class那么不靠
谱找喜剧导演来拍。screenwriter也换了，simon kinberg这个大傻瓜总算不在了。还
找来了个当年X1的writter。反正我是要等大家都说好才会去试。wolverine origin没
有以simon kinberg为首的一群大傻瓜掺合就好多了。
simon kinberg这个大傻瓜还在future past里掺合。不知道会搞成啥样。magneto当年
在X1里多酷，在first class里第一次控制大型物件时居然流下了深沉的泪水。我当时
就笑翻了。当然first class里除了rose byrne一个一个都表演过度。找喜剧片导演来
就是不行。

现在立法控制得挺严的，他们网上给的writter offer pdf必须honer得，只要你有这么
个东西，拿来随便去你想取的dealer让他们match呗。空口随便说个价格一般人很难说
yes的，有个东西做参考就好受了。
其实dealer的sales也在等你这东西他好在备注里有个说道，“为了match别家的
written offer”

What's the rush? Isn't FAP1 going to be offered pretty frequently throughout
the year?
Jumping from the FAP modules straight into a 6-hour ESSAY exam, you might be
in for a major shock. People who sat for the old Course 5 or 6 (both are 5-
hour essay exams) before would have an upper hand.
Most Chinese are slow writters, that's another disadvantage in addition to

都是专业要对口的 --- not exactly true. If you can get through to the
interview stage, it then becomes about soft skills.
如果是一般的scientist, 人家要的是本科／硕士，我overqualify,人家也不考虑。
