一直延续到解放战争，甚至在朝鲜战场的九兵团，所谓“叶挺部队”，“叶挺英雄”的
荣誉授予，时有所闻。
军队的战斗力有务实--士气高昂训练充份后勤保障指挥若定，这样的一面；也有务虚--
光荣传统历史传承荣誉单位，那样的一层。老叶的WWI阵地战经验与指挥水准，当然在
抗战时就不合适领实际指挥权了，但是他作为部队源流与光荣传统的化身，价值也是不
小的。
至于离开组织的问题，忠诚度的疑问，他坐的牢，写的囚歌，再重新入党，可以说完满
的解决了问题。以后他可以跟朱老总一样高高兴兴的挂在解放军总部，挂个副总的头衔
，看看各战区战报，副署一下捷报频传时给予各军的嘉奖电令。
至于他在新四军任实职时处分不当的那些事儿，一则他牢底坐穿对组织全忠全节，道义
