version1.1，samsang DVD-ROM。然后上网做research，看看如何mod xbox。
结果最先看到的就是用modchip。从xbox-scene上看到xecuter的chip评价不错。
接着读install的tutorial，觉得把modchip焊在主板上的过程很fun，而且焊完后
整个板子看上去很干净很清爽，遂决定买modchip自己焊。于是上system-mods.com
买了一块Xecuter2.3b pro的modchip。在等待modchip的时候，我在网上找了很多
tutorial和guide来读，把自己mod xbox的过程了解清楚，也想到很多可能遇到的
问题。在这里提一句，这个调研工作真的很重要，会让自己以后少走很多弯路，节
省不少时间。记得当年本科金工实习的时候有一个师傅教我们的：要作出漂亮的活儿，
得有三个CH: clever head, clean hand, and clear habbit。我觉得这个准备的

周日成功 Softmod 新版 XBox 一台 (生产日期 2005-03-02，Made in China)，
Bios version 5838, Dashboard version 5960 我采用的是 Hotswap 方式。
成功安装 UXE expliot, 并升级成 Maxtor 160G 大硬盘。 整个mod过程共计
耗时约三小时（从开始打印备忘录到打扫完战场）， 考虑到本人是标准的 XBox
菜鸟， 因此自己对花费时间基本满意，相信下次 Mod 应该可以在 1 个小时内
搞定。
没有选择基于 gamesave 的 Softmod 方法是因为 1. 需要添置的硬件太多 (XBox
Memory card, Exploitable Games etc), 浪费时间和金 |

我年前买的ps3 玩得还挺爽的 就是买游戏买的钱包已经瘪了 而且最近又要出几个自己
特别想玩得 像beyonetta, dante's inferro, darksiders 还有ff13 再加上一直想玩
得忍龙2 这买游戏的钱就超过一个xbox了 所以挺趁着ld回国 帮我带一个回去刷了 但
是还有几点犹豫吧
1 不知道现在xbox还有三红吗 感觉质量挺不稳定的 要是刷了估计也不能保修了
2 是不是好多同一个游戏的ps3版本会比xbox好呢(我知道beyonetta是xbox好)
3 还有就是xbox的online live是不是做的真如传说中的那么好啊 要是特好我也懒得刷
了(但ms 我喜欢的游戏类型不怎么需要上网

2. 很多游戏XBOX比PS3好，因为XBOX早发布一年，开发工具也更好一些，所以很多多平
台游戏都是在XBOX上开发然后移植到PS3上，然后优化，优化得有多好就看开发商诚意了
。不过这个优势在慢慢减小。
3. LIVE挺好，不过不知道传说中的好是什么定义。
我觉得玩单机游戏比较多的话，想破解就买XBOX，想正版就PS3
联网的话周围朋友是什么就买什么，这个是非常重要的因素。 |

手柄完全看喜好，xbox手柄的摇杆更好一点，trigger更好一点，玩FPS更好一点。
还有就是游戏，除了独占之外，有些跨平台的游戏XBOX优化的更好。
剩下就是好友了，周围玩xbox的多，所以想上网一起玩就只能入xbox了 |

使微软在跨平台游戏上损失惨重，玩家更愿意买ps3的版本而不是xbox的。而对于各自
独占的游戏，online互动性方面ps3和x360就差了不知几条街。从第三方游戏商来看，
EA愿意和xbox one携手，本身就说明了就算跨平台的游戏方面，即使psn联网免费，也
是xbox遥遥领先。毕竟ps3的面向主要是动作类，而xbox更多是枪车球。联网和单机，
哪个收益大，一目了然。
我觉得这次微软这么做，是明目张胆地抢市场，向ps4摊牌。我不管你是不是开发
bluray2，就算你制式始终领先于我，我在北美的联网玩家群比你大，潜力也大。一旦
在玩家心目中确立要玩枪车球，用xbox的话，ps的市场就堪忧了。而且北美玩家球类分

其次，这实在有点自欺欺人，如果你觉得不应该给8岁小孩玩不适合他年龄的游戏，那
就不要买xbox，xbox的主要受众和上面的大作是怎么样的，你我都很清楚。这就好像带
小孩去酒吧喝可乐一样，可以是可以，但是你没事会在家里造一个酒吧、买一堆酒瓶放
着，然后专门给你小孩喝可乐，酒瓶和酒架只能看吗？你这算是给小孩创造环境么？只
买可乐不就好了？
我一开始就说了，没有说一定就怎么样，就是灾难了。但是风险收益的角度来讲是说不
通的，特别是在8岁这个刚刚认识世界的时间点，有很多其他更值得做的事情，上面45
楼还从小孩认识世界的过程和兴奋度的角度来分析了。
我自己也玩游戏，对游戏没有极端的偏见情绪，但是我觉得玩家也不应该由于自己对游
戏的喜好，就忽视了游戏对小孩甚至成年人生活的影响。说句实话，我自己也玩，但是
作为一个成年人，我也常常觉得我玩游戏的时间完全可以做一些其他对我的生活更正面
的事情，你难道没有这样觉得过吗？成年人应该了解这是不矛盾的。

微软游戏工作室总监 Phil Spencer 不久前在采访中称，Xbox One 可能将引入“Paid
Alphas ”系统，让玩家们在游戏开发期间就能提前玩到它们。“Paid Alphas ”即付
费 Alpha 版游戏，指玩家可以通过付款在 Alpha 开发中阶段就能提前体验期待已久的
作品，并将自己的体验感受回馈给开发者。由于这时距离游戏开发完成还早，开发者可
以做出相应的大改动，而不仅仅是 BUG 修补。
其实 Paid Alphas 的概念早就已经由 Valve 公司在 Steam 平台上实现了，名字叫
Early Access。不过 Xbox One 想要借鉴一番也未尝不可。像 Dayz 那样的游戏在
Alpha 阶段就卖出了 100 万份，只要素质足够优秀，开发商是有赚头的。
和 PS4 相比，Xbox One 输在了机能上。如果单单是这样追着跑，终究是不行的。因此

I am using Xbox 360 to be the Window 7 media center extender.
I can't fast forward mp4( H.264 codec) movies when I stream it to Xbox 360.
If I don't stream to Xbox 360, the media center itself can fast forward mp4
files. I have no problem with Divx or Xvid files fast-forward when they are
streamed to Xbox 360.
