Profsesor Younan Xia has earned the 2005 Baekeland Award for his work in
chemistry, physics, and the technological applications related to
nanostructured materials. In addition to the $5,000 honorarium and a gold
medal, Xia will deliver the keynote address at the 2005 Baekeland Symposium on
November 10, 2005, at Lucent Technologies in Murray Hill, New Jersey.

关于中国这样的牛人多了有没有好处的问题,我基本认同是好的.
但是据说xia对于中国人投到nano lett的稿子拒掉90%以上,还说中国大陆中nano lett
的稿子90%是从哈佛的lieber手里过的
跟yangpeidong一样,据说对中国大陆投过去JACS的稿子也是把关特别严格.
也许让他们当editor就是有意识让他们对大陆稿子严格把关吧 |

当年看了他的文章基本都是合成一个形状的纳米粒子就发一篇JACS(三角形，立方体，
空心立方体，削角的立方体…………等等)，对机理都都是轻描淡写，看多了就觉得很
恶心。 |
