The 13th issue contains 44 pages, almost 50 thousand words or 31 articles, i
ncluding 13 originals from volunteers, one from donors, one from teachers an
d three from aided students. Most of the illustrations were original by the

biased on XingJiang, Tibet and Olympics reports, I really doubt you read any
English news.
Show me the neutral and pro-Han report, I can find 10 times opposite report
for you.
Sure here in the US, you probably can hear more different voices, however,
however on some issues, they are unbelievable consistent.

我喜欢观察城市表面的那一层，广告啊，门脸啊，店名啊，它们看起来独立于人，但无
不显露人的习性、他们自己都看不见的潜意识以及难以逆转的时代走向。
我最近走在南方某城的大街上，一眼扫过去，不说满大街漂染的黄发，中央电视台的主
持人都褪其本色，余下的可想而知。
预 计“乌发如漆”、“青丝成雪”、“绀发垂云俱弱冠”、“待你青丝绾正，铺十里
红妆可愿”这些词句将从汉语语文中消失了；也不说上天入地躲不掉的洋面孔广告 —
—标志、面孔、硕大无比、无处不在，卖货是次，入主为真（人面与崇拜，古人都懂的
事），堪比一支直捣腹地的军团；就说店铺的名字，恐怕也比三十年代半殖 民地的上
海要洋化，洋化不光是西洋化，还有各种回教标志的阿拉伯化（北京连东来顺都涂成绿
色写上阿拉伯文），令人不知走在一个什么文明的土地上。
店名有直接用外文的，有些小店主估计未必通晓外文，拷贝下来就贴上去了，西洋字母

YunChuan Garden ("guo qiao yuan"), "chongqing Chuan Cai", "xiang Wei Lou".
"xingjiang xiaoguan", "Lu Wei Ju" and "xu Liu Shan" are good for non-spicy

A 6.9-magnitude earthquake struck Qinghai province of China Wednesday
morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The quake hit at 7:49 a.m. local time (8:49 p.m. ET). The epicenter was
about 150 miles (240 kilometers) northwest of Qamdo, Tibet. Qinghai borders
the autonomous regions of Tibet and Xingjiang and the provinces of Gansu and
Sichuan.
No other details were immediately available.
