playoff either. yanks need somebody like Graeme LLoyd in 96.
Nielson will be ok, but I bet he won't be a yankee next
year. Gooden is taking over Mendosa's role (turnout to be a
genius move by Cashman).

btw, yanks maybe knows that red sox is searching for a
catcher desprately, they hold Todd Greene long enough until
the deal was final and kicked him out of roster. That is my
guess. and I think it's reasonable.
Compared with that Doug guy, Greene had 6 rbi in just two
starts for yankees this season.

Yankees: A+, always got what they want. have to pf Cashman
and cash (maybe not in this case). And why my favorite pitchers
are always end up with pinstripe? Moose and Weaver, my dream
team's 1-2 punch
A's: B, Lilly still needs to prove himself can handle full-time
SP job. And if the prospects they got from Yanks are really top-level
as they are advertised. They can become a final winner of this deal
some time down the road.

The 2 prospects Yanks give A's are said to be really good ones. And

Tim Wakefield in my opinion deserves everything except this late
inning start. Already got two win and you just cannot expect more
from him. Anyway, all Sox players play hard and deserve respect
from baseball fans, Yank players the same.
For Pedro, different people can have very different point of view.
That's quite understandable when you think of his unique style,

being let go from Rangers. Even Marlins' young pitchers didn't quite
accept him at firt. Just as people thought his chance was gone after
losing to Yanks 3 times in postseason as a Ranger, he paid his due and
finally earned this elusive ring after 10+ years of career. Nice. |

reason that M's fans called him a "punk" and "screw Omar" to show their
attitude against the management.
To me the "old" Omar is the best defensive SS in my memory.
And he's had numerous sensational plays
one of which is the stealing home (against which team I forgot) blatantly.
Compared to that, Roger Cedeno's stealing home against Yanks is just拾人牙慧

I believe most Yankee fans KNEW this would eventually happen when Andy was gone.
Roger didn't quickly accept that Hammer just because he wouldn't
slap on boss' face so immediately, so he flirted a bit.
I actually want to buy Mets ticket for the home game vs Astros;
Although Roger did pitch on Shea last year as a yankee.

1. Addition of Sheffield;
2. healthy Giambi - no eye infections whatsoever anymore;
3. 2nd year of Matsui so he'd be more familiar with AL pitchers;
4. Kenny Lofton can hit clutch balls;
The uncertain thing is who will be 3B; but if you consider Boone has
poor production last year then can't be worse than that;
And, Soriano had such a bad playoff so hopefully he can only get better.
This Sox lineup replaces Walker with Burks... |

Sox pen is on par with Embree, Timlin, Williamson and Foulke...

但是该同学仍坚强的,顽强的咬牙顶住压力,
在电梯里迎来了养鸡的大逆转,迈出了摘掉"养鸡与电梯不能共存"的帽子的第一步;
基于icon同学打开电梯三分钟,养鸡就开始集体抽风,
并且该同学两天前曾在很小样本的基础上得出:红袜子不能在养鸡输球的同时赢球的结
论,
给了我们7局落后4分时扳平甚至反超的希望,确立了icon养鸡本周红灯笼的地位;
当然还有我,在我军落后的时候,自信的告诉养鸡黑slower:"小意思,
只要1,2个homer就搞回来了.."
当然还有eddy同学,胜利的时候保持清醒头脑,希望能给养鸡多保存点人品.
昨天人品消耗过大,并且Arod同学刚拿了周最佳,这些都对moose不是好消息啊,

1. RedSox: plagued by injuries last season. they should achieve
their potentials better than Yanks.
2. Yankees: the rotation stinks. Torre decided to stay last offseason.
That could turn into an ugly divorce in the middle of the season.
Longtime spoiled fans need somebody to blame. They'll finally miss
the playoff--it's my guess, not my hope.
3. Blue Jays: very strong on paper, but they'll find a new way to

LA and Giants, very so so teams. I don't get why philies were swept.
D'back so so bah, considering T. Clark was the cleanup guy in
the lineup (he was only a bench player in both rsox and yanks).
