8月28日QEW上的这次车祸中受伤者是我的朋友，不幸故去的和死者与我有一面之交
，去年曾在 Caledonia 钓过鱼。
他们是在同一公司上班，所以Car Pool上班。两家本是非常要好的朋友。
其实我们同胞出事了，我们应当讨论该如何帮助他们，尤其是那位刚刚突然失去丈
夫的太太。
不过，既然大家又借此回到了讨论已久的话题，我以禁不住说两句。
其实，我的朋友在买那辆本田车之前，我就不止一次劝过他们要买美国车，不要因
为要所谓的“保值”而忽视了“保命”。有我网友评论说：“省油一年能省出多少来？
受伤或失去生命和省油、保值以及所谓的维修次数低相比究竟哪个重要？”
同意上一位朋友说的，车越重，相对就安全一些。我的第一辆车是MAZDA，现在想
起来都后怕。车体轻得要命，钣金非常薄，高速上风大些就发飘。感谢上帝，终于这台
日本车在时速20公里的情况下与一辆美国小Truck追尾(Truck driver下来看看他的车没
事，又看我的车的惨象，说了声Good Luck就走了）。我的车毁得不值得再修，只好送
到Junk Yar |

saw a REO house with agent yesterday. It is not perfect to me, but still the
best of ones that I have seen recently. Since several families also showed
in that property while we were there, agent think we should not wait, and
gave full price offer plus several thousand more. The house is listed about
10% lower than market value I think. It's in a nice location. good school.
But lot is kind of small, very close to the neighbor from the back yar |

告诉，真的是贴着。。。还有就是豪宅但是没有任何的yars， 4000sfqt yard，房子面

老房子就不好说了，这种drama，加盖的格局不合理，虽然硬指标到了（4br，2.5ba，
但是房间allover的，主卧在车库上的）， 地下室有霉味到，termite严重到siding要
重新换，哈不知道里面的beam好不好的，3500吃的split entry，房顶却不到8吃的，厨
房在房间正中央的，这些基本是1950以后。1940以前的没怎么看，我胆小，觉得这么长
时间，里面死过多少人都不知道。。。 |

a 300 yards par 4, ur 7 goes 150 yars, 7+7, u can reach green.
a 340 yards, 7+7, u have about 40 yards left, then try your pitching/
chipping, get the ball on green by the 3rd shot, 2 putts for bogey.
480 par 5, it's 3-shot of 7 again, u can still reach green by 3 shots, and 2
putts for par.

swam on weekend consistently, and consistently twice on weekends this year.
So, I can do freestyle 1200 yards non-stop pretty easily, but my timing
sucks. It takes me 10min to swim 400 yards and 33 min to swim 1200 yars,
which is way slower than my breast stroke: about 8:30min for 400 yards.
