由于众所周知的原因，印度人，中国人绿卡都有比较长的排期，印度人的非常长，所以
他们就原因成立各种组织，然后募捐，去说服各种议员。h4 ead.
就是这样通过的，但是95%的h4 ead就是印度人拿到的。虽然现在也要取消了。
现在每年职业移门按国别限制，每个国家出身的分到的名额是一定且一样的，由于印度
人工作签证是国人的小10倍，绿卡申请数量也有6，7倍，所以排期自然就长很多。
涉及绿卡数量，名额分配的都是bill，要house先vote 过了，senate再vote 过了，然
后总统签字。几年前关于h1工资要求改革的bill好几个，但是连house vote都没到，因

一点小建议，可以把“100%”改成“nearly 100%"
另外好像这个funding bill还没通过full house vote
（只是通过committee vote). 而且还要和senate的
funding bill综合, 讨论具体条款。 这个过程amendments是
可以讨论删改的。但是这种funding bill一般最后总是会通过的。
这就是Rep Yoder无耻的地方，他把跟funding不相关的移民
bill混进funding bill, 就是想混过去。因为trump只care 修墙的钱。
所以想反对的赶快联系house reps, senate reps，反对HR392,
并要求删除dhs funding bill中Yoder提出的关于eliminate country
cap 的amendment.

府一意孤行，中国可能采取反制措施。
今天（1月3日），对于互联网金融巨头蚂蚁金服来说可谓一喜一忧。喜的是旗下支付宝

Barry Goldwater开始经营右派阵营，拉拢南方福音派和social conservative。现在的
民主党和共和党都是大杂烩党。共和党主要是工商派和社会保守派的结合体。工商派如
Mitt Romney，Orrin Hatch等对EB其实是友好的，因为business friendly。但是共和
党里也有很大一部分人是不管什么B，只要是移民就不喜欢。民主党里的蓝领工人实际
上是反移民的。Bernie Sanders就对移民一直保持了很谨慎的态度，去年primary期间
迫于压力才开始支持Comprehensive Immigration Reform。
把共和党或民主党片面归结成挺移民/反移民都只是非常片面的political rhetoric。
首先，看sponsorship没有毛线用。这只是国会议员左右逢源，不付政治代价换取好感
的惯用手段。因为很多bill的sponsorship>50%也不会真正投票，而真正投票时议员投
自己sponsor的法案反对票也比比皆是。

共和党硬塞进去的。民主党只不过不care我们而已，Nancy Pelosi只不过说现在这几个
funding bill，能过就过了吧，人家估计都不知道里面有HR392。就算要过，也是今年
lameduck期间，还是共和党控制的国会。从面试到HR392，全是GOP干的恶心事，民主党
可以完全不care我们，我就已经很感激了。

【侨报综合报道】对于相当一部分准备留在美国工作的中国留学生和华裔移民来说，H-
1B工作签证都是十分重要的，因此，关于它的任何改革消息都牵动着他们的心。从2017
年特朗普成为总统以来，H-1B的改革传闻很多，但其中大部分消息并不真实，不是把提
案当作已经生效的法律，就是以偏概全。广大申请者们需要擦亮眼睛加以辨别，不要听
风就是雨，自己把自己吓到。
以下是2018年前三个月比较有代表性的三个关于H-1B的传闻，其中有的已经由政府辟谣
，有的只是酝酿中的提案，还有的属于对具体政策理解出现偏差，总之，这些听上去那
么回事的消息都是假的。

A lawsuit filed by a local attorney alleges that the Catholic Diocese of
Savannah ignored warnings about a priest many thought was dangerous to
children.
Allan Carl Ranta Jr., a student in schools operated by the diocese, was
repeatedly taken across state lines into South Carolina and molested by
Wayland Yoder Brown, a priest many in the diocese had worried about for
years before the abuse, the lawsuit alleges.

纪念耶稣受难的日子，但英文直译是“好的礼拜五”。
两千年前，一个犹太木匠惨死在十字架上，“受难”应该是倒霉的事，但有什么“好”
可言呢？
基督的受难，是上帝认同担当人类的苦难，为赦免人类的罪而准备的“赎罪祭”。而且
更重要的是，在 GoodFriday后的第三日，礼拜天，基督复活了，所以这个礼拜天就是
复活节。基督的复活表明上帝的救赎对罪性和死亡的战胜，给人类带来终极的盼望，一
种绝望中的希望。“因他活着，我能面对明天；因他活着，不再惧怕。我深知道，他掌
管明天；生命充满了希望，只因他活着”。
