The defense lawyer for an Iraqi journalist who threw shoes at then-President
George W. Bush said his client was sentenced to three years in prison for
assaulting a foreign leader.
The 30-year-old journalist, Muntadhar al-Zeidi, had pleaded not guilty to
assault charges. |
