Application material included DS160 confirmation page, picture, Visa fee
receipts, passport and all the supporting documents (invitation letter,
letter to VO, our pay stubs and bank statement for recent 3 months and
parents's retirement statmetn and bank statements. etc..)
We were told we only need to submit the DS160 confirmation page, picture,
Visa fee receipts, passport but we were allowed to submit more material.

I received emails (one for my dad and one for my mother) this morning
showing "Document Status (US Travel Docs)".
Here is the information in the email:

You can write an invitation letter to your aunt (or cousin?). Your aunt need
to deposit RMB100,000 in Zhongxin Bank and she becomes a VIP or someone
like valued customer of this bank. Zhongxin Bank then will help your aunt
fill all the necessary forms and schedule the interview for her. Since it is
your aunt's first time to come to the US, she still need to go to the US

in jiangsu now, I wonder whether she could use zhongxin bank in jiangsu
instead of wenzhou.
I guess she could do this if she got all the necessary document. Could you
please share your documents list?
Why mail to zhongxin? It doesn't take much time to go to the zhongxin in

to zhongxin.
Like my case,my popo is from zhejiang but she is in jiangsu with her
daughter now. My concern is whether she could use the zhongxin in jiangsu.
convert to your case, your popo is from jiangsu, whether she could use
zhongxin in beijing. |

original, and some is fine with the photocopy. It is said that Beijing
Zhongxin is stubborn re the passport original.
I think someone taking your passport to Zhongxin to pay is O.K., however,
you need to courier your passport back to China and have it couried back,
which is very risky. |

it seems much faster. i think it is the hangzhou zhongxin bank called my
parents to pick up the passports.

2 weeks after they submitted all required documents.
Make sure you ask Zhongzxin what documents are required. Chengdu seems
different because Zhongxin asks other stuff in addtion to DS160 form and
passport. |

walk by herself. But, she feels tired soon and could not walk fast, that's
why we ask wheel chair services. And for the visa application, my parents
went by themselves ( and for the second time they used Zhongxin BANK).

to beijing just to do finger prints and they only collected info on her two
thumbs, not ten fingers. So this time I had to answer no and probably she

You can't do it for you parents in USA. Your parents have to do it
themselves or find some friends or relatives to help them. Just simply find
the closet bank which has the service from ZhongXin bank website, bring
money and their passports and the Shen fen Zheng of who is going to do this
for them. Be prepared, it will take lots of time if they don't know anyone
in the bank and have to wait in line.

As for this, half of Chinese parents are the same and they have to get the

has been in USA for more than 2.5 years in total (coming back and forth between usa and china) for the most recent 5 years. SO this
time after she stayed in usa for 1 year, applied visa through Zhongxin after
she has been back for 6 months, but didn't get it. She is asked to go to
interview, and still didn't get it. the officer told her to come back for
interview after staying in china for 12 months. Hope this helps! |
