Somewhere in San Gabriel, front range.
It's a long hike (unless one drives up Hwy 2), but very doable.
My troubles will be all behind me when I hike there :-) |

Yes, don't fall, it will be BIG trouble!
On the way down back to civilization, so far I had never met one single
person. Oh, well, perhaps my friend mountain lion was watching me along the

发帖数: 11530 | 6 Sat's hike was exhaustive (Man, it's 16 miRT, 4300'EG). I went up there with
a slight Flu symtom. Started in the 60's and ended up in the 30's, with
just a short sleeve light vest to shield me from the chill. I am fairly sick
now but still back to work...
I wish I could recover soon enough such that I could make the heavenly hike
again, catching the fresh snow, if it doesn't melt away by weekend...

at least 6000ft high. As for the 17miles round trip, if given enough time,
we shall be able to make it.
How long did it take you to hike 17 miles? What's the difficulty level? |

Sorry, the 4500ft I was refering to is elevation gain, not how high is the
mountain.
It is basicaaly class 1 hike, little scramble. Just needs some stamina.
Takes
about 7-8 hours. |
