2003年是我来美国的第三个年头，密歇根那年的冬天，一如往常，被白雪覆盖。
十二月，一个同学从加州来看我，他可是 Lake Tahoe 的滑雪常客，家里在泰浩湖有度
假小屋的他，当然自幼就习惯于穿着一米六、七双板穿缩于百芒芒的山破。于是，我们
踏上我的第一次滑雪旅程 － 一个离家40里边上的小滑雪场。
当时还是高中滑冰队的我，基本上没怎么在 bunny hill 摔跤，snow plow stop,也是
再自然不过了，于是，在他的鼓励下，我们很快地上了lift，直奔绿道。（附住：倒是
滑完雪隔天再一次在冰上的我，突然不会滑、不会跳了，教玩笑的说"you are
forbidden to ski again!"）
下lift成为了我的第一个挑战，"1，2，3，ok, go!" 但我还是摔了，雪场负责lift的
大叔把整个缆车停了下来，我赶忙爬离unloading area，以免挡着后头的旅客。当时的
我，觉得lift的设计太不人性话了。
绿道比我想象中的简单，我没有什么问题的滑了下来。只是不喜欢、也不追求速度感的

since she always get complimented on her skis with Polka dots :)- the key
motivation for her to ski I think:)

the quality has to be there~
you can also try Volkl, they also have cute skis. I ski on Volkl, may try
out some Roxy ones next season at their demo. |

发帖数: 629 | 21 I like them so far. I am 164cm. Skis are 156cm, 112/66/99, Cielo model (
Volkl's intermidiate skis). Overall fairly stable and float nicely. The
edges are nice and grab just about right. Although my right ski is not as
stable as the left one, but I am thinking that it's a binding/boot problem.
Plan on getting it checked out once I get to JH. Keep in mind that I
rarely ever go down very fast though......
Thinking about demoing Roxy or Tierra from Volkl nest season, just to get a
feel. |

waist in the low to mid 70s.... intermediate ones often in the mid 60s
waist ah~

ski level.
It is more about what type of skier you are (eg. you like to carve, or you
like powder), and what kind of snow condition you usually ski in.
(Experts correct me if I am wrong!)
I think waist of 66 is more like a carving ski. My current ski waist is 78cm
, it is an all mountain one, good but not superb in powder.

我这个雪季到目前为止一共滑雪11次，中间有5次都是在室内练习的，这5次当然不是什
么室外运动。一旦去了室外雪场，我的注意力也完全放在雪道本身上，和outdoor版大
家追求的东西大不一样。只要雪道坡度足够，长度够长，宽度合适，室内和室外对我来
说都一样。
至于说闭门造车，有人要在旁边偷笑了。我是看书看录像，然后实际练习，最后对照自
己录像找问题的过程，某些不去滑双板却坐在电脑前乱猜的人才是真搞笑吧。 |

周末我去Rainier实际勘察了一下，走上去的一路上就看到3个人是滑下来的。想来St.
Helens的雪也应该和Rainier的差不多吧。对单板来说可能好点，双板滑起来太难受了
。很容易被绊倒。 |

重，鞋子的尺寸来调整固定器的位置和DIN的松紧。REI里这一套弄下来大概50刀，其中
包括了打蜡和磨边。 |

如果觉得那个录像里的slide turn太难，先试试slide，就是两只板子平行的往下蹭，
等熟悉了再练转弯。 |
