I am really looking for it and can't get it, visited WA state accounting
board, googled top 100 accting firms but many of them do not have offices in
WA.
Try to get a job in WA for family reason, currently working in MA, it looks
like MA has more opportunities than west coast cities. |

Big CPA firms actually are not hiring except for manager/senior above level.
I worked in CPA firm for just 1 year,so I think it might be better to apply
local CPA firms, instead of national firms/big 4. Anyone knows local CPA
firms? |

local firms. To be honest, with 1 year experience, it might be hard to get a
position now even with local firms due to the economy, but it doesn't hurt
to try. Good luck! |

I just got CPA passed and in the process of applying license now. But most
job positions require atleast 3 years experience, not entry level people
like me. |

发帖数: 68 | 8 I got a tax position offer back in this Jan. and moved to Seattle late Jan.,
have been working here since then and got my WA license this summer. With 2
years experience,(1 year audting and 1 year tax),I am considering to work
for a big private firm or bigger CPA firm for tax position, I find myself
more interested in tax than auditing after worked for both sides.
Will start my job searching in Oct./Nov.,anyone who knows such kind of
opportunity, please feel free to let me know. Thanks a lot. |
