我觉得你不应该去. 先在IA混着,然后争取转其他部门. |
x*****3 发帖数: 15 | 4 For Chinese, accounting or internal audit always is hard for the future
career promotion. But I don't know if you go to the small firm, it will be
better? and the salary is too low and seems not worth to try. Anyone have a
successful path in a small firm?
BTW, what kind of questions you were asked by the interviewer?
It looks like we are on the same boat.

thing to 5 peopel, so understandly my version of the story just got shorter
and shorter. I did get asked the famous 'describe a time when you faced an
obstacle and how you overcome it' question. Interview is really about how
well you BS.

4low pay 且可以预见的加班
另外如果你还是想去的话建议你去PCAOB的网站上查查他们是不是有资格做上市公司的
审计。有的话去SEC的网站上查查他们上市公司客户规模。 |

s******g 发帖数: 654 | 12 You may just go for it. A small local CPA firm may not be a good idea for
someone who enjoys a big project or big company. However, there are still
many CPAs running small CPA firms/business. If you are a business type
person, then small CPA firm is good for you to learn starting your own
business. Mid/small business owners may make more than 2 million a year in
the US. Just like many of my clients. When big companies lose their jobs in
2008 ~ 2009, many mid/small firms/companies are getting big |

the phone, they said the salary might be a little bit lower than what I'm

fresh undergrad with no experience and no CPA gets 55K in my city. Even
economy's shit now, I still deserve something more than 50k with my
background.

i*********s 发帖数: 164 | 24 why not try to neogtiate the salary? Tell them what you will accept. |
O****v 发帖数: 383 | 25 If they're testing my salary negotiation skills. Well they had it, I tried
to negotiate and they won't budge. If they're trying to test my commitment,
then that's just stupid. Low pay would almost always drive people away or
result in low morale. Higher pay should be how employers show how much they
value you and want you for the position. So with all that said, I've already
said no to the offer, I mean even if I take the offer, I'll probably be a
disgruntled employee and wouldn't be as producti

O****v 发帖数: 383 | 26 I did, I sent an email to them on Thursday expressing that I think the pay
is on the conservative side. Got a call from them on Friday, said the best
they can do is to give me a performance review in 6 months rather than 1
year. If my performance was spectacular, I will be looking at 50K range, 55K
would still be a hard stretch.
They went on further to say that they've offered higher salary to some folks
before but they left the firm rather quickly, that's why they want to be
extra cautious this
