BEC: Fall 2009, studied textbook 2+, class notes 3+, flash cards 2+;
homework 2+, final exams, passed 90+;
REG: Winter 2009, class notes 2+, flash cards 3+; homework 1+, simulation 1+
, no textbook or final exams, passed 80+;
AUD: Winter 2010, class notes 2+, flash cards 3+; homework 1+, simulation 1+
, no textbook or final exams, passed 80+;

Sorry for my lazy English...if you take the live class, it is much better
following the schedule and take exams accordingly. And if you do so, you
will be able to hit all materials and pass comfortably.
With that said, as long as you master the homework questions, you will be
fine.

I did not have time for textbook due to lack of self-discipline.
Class notes are notes from live classes
Yes.
It really depends but I would always pick passmaster over textbook if can't
have both. Also, flashcards are very helpful too.
