Accountant
Responsibilities include:
Payroll – review payroll & time and attendance system for accuracy
Accounts Payable – Verify accuracy and validity of all bills after input by
bookkeeper, insure proper authorizations are obtained for all payables,
reconciles outstanding payables for monthly statements
Accounts Receivable – Prepare invoices as assigned, responsible for monthly
electronic billing
Account Reconciliation – Reconcile all balance sheet accounts on a monthly
basis to insure accuracy
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minimum of 1 year experience
Experience in non-profit organizations a plus
Experience with NYS-OMRDD regulations a plus
