hours to complete 100 multiple choices and 1 hour to complete essays (two
senarios). Hope this is helpful. |

well as books. I bought CDs also just in order to get familiar with test
feeling.
For quaint. Before you get CMA certification, you do not have to meet CPE.
But after you get the certification, yes, you need to meet annual CPE
requirement. But you will find a lot of CPE webinars from IMA website. IMA
does offer its members many online/webinars to get required CPE. It is easy
to have enough CPE. I am a CPA already.

I just bought the Gleim book and heard that Gleim has higher passing rate
than ima.org books.
I think it is better to have CMA designation in addition to CPA.
I checked the CPE questions, the CPE for CPA can be applied to CMA as well.
For those who take the CMA exams, should we create a study group?
Let's work hard on it!

CPA and CMA are valuable in very different fields. If your career goal is to
be in cost accounting, I can see the value of taking CMA.
Maintaining the CPE for 2 credetials can be time consuming. It looks good on
paper, but does it really bring the value worth the time and effort? For me
, after several years working, I'd rather use the time to improve my soft
skills and to have some quality time with my family. Even though my current
job does require some managerial accounting skills, I can get it by taking
relevant CPE classes for my CPA license.
Obviously if you have the time and energy, go for it!
